I think this is a great little lens. The depth of field is so shallow, and it lets in so much light with such a large aperture of f/1.4. Focussing is very quick and silent with HSM. Only thing is that Sigma quality, my copy back focussed clearly, not a problem when using a camera like the D7000 that can Auto Focus Fine Tune per lens, but I wouldn't risk it otherwise and would want to try before I buy.Oh and the bokeh is so creamy, much better than the Nikon 35mm f/1.8 which would have been my alternative.
