If sound quality is all you care about in the pair of 'phones and you're on a budget, look no further. Sure, you don't get fancy packaging and the cables are cheap PVC. They're not particularly light or comfortable either. That being said, they are supplied with a good range of ear tips to suit different sized ears, so it is possible to get they fitting reasonably well. However, where these 'phones really excel is in how they sound: they are very good indeed, and produce a level of detail and accuracy that, frankly, I didn't realise was possible at this price point (N.B, I'm comparing them with £2k studio monitor speakers) Bass is a little over-blown but it seems churlish to criticise because everything else is so well presented.

As Shure's entry-to-in-ear-monitoring product you might expect the SE215's to be less robust than more expensive offerings, yet they are solidly constructed and share common features such as a detachable cable.While I haven't been in a position to directly compare the audio quality with other IEMs they stack up well against my Sennheiser over ears but, as you might expect, can vary in bass response depending on the position and snugness of fit.They come well packaged and with a choice of 3 differently sized foam and silicon ear buds. I would have preferred a slightly longer cable to be supplied, and there's no 3/5mm - 1/4" adapter, but the quality of all the parts seems well manufactured.

Legendary Shure performance at such a reasonable price.Solid bass, well defined transients, almost flat in response and not too coloured top or bottom.Isolation is quoted at up to 30db and I think the specs add up in use.Comfort is always a concern and the SE's earbuds are not without their issues but on a typical night's gig of three sets with breaks, taking them out for 15 to 20 minutes gives enough relief from any discomfort.Keep yer lugs (ears) wax free n super clean as the bud tips can become clogged quickly.That's it - a great set of in-ear headphones that I would recommend to anybody needing good sound reproduction and noise isolation.

I wanted an audiophile level in-ear headphone which keeps external noise intrusion to a minimum - without spending £100's. The SE215's do the job very well. The depth and clarity of the sound is great, and they sit in the earlobe very well (although getting used to them, including wrapping the cable around my ear, was interesting!). They come with six different sized and types of buds (and you can get other styles online if these don't work for you). And the price ( 40% off RRP) was brilliant...

These are great earphones which fit snugly inside your ear, block out external sounds, and provide a good quality sound to the music you're playing. I bought them because I'm very easily distracted by the loud youths and awful music at my local gym, which were irritating me and putting me off my workouts. With these earphones, problem solved! Be careful if you're wearing them in the street though since you won't hear that lorry coming, even at low volume.

Bought these just to compare to my SoundMAGIC e80s. Apart from the quality of sound it's the build that really impressed me, very rugged and comfortable to wear. That said there are plenty of budget Chinese iems that do a better job when it comes to sound quality. I would recommend the KZ ZS3 or Rock Zircon to anyone that doesn't want to pay out £50 but still wants an amazing deal for a third of the price.

Bought this as an alternative to the SONY to use on long haul international flights which I have to do regularly. It certainly outperforms the SONY in terms of audio quality and in shutting out ambient noise that one gets in an aircraft cabin. Would have given it a 5 star had it not been for how fiddly it can be to put them on for the first few times. All in all, I'm rather impressed with the product.

Excellent product after trying and been very disappointed by headphones more expensive these little beauties ticked all the boxes.Wanting engine noise reduced in my motorcycle helmet plus a robust solid headphone I was over the moon to find comfot and quality sound in this product. Another plus point was for once getting a great efficient deal from eBay Thanks am happy

I have previously had a pair of Shure SE112s which served me well until my daughter got hold of them and refused to give them back!Had a good look at alternatives from various top brands but in all comparisons, the Shoe SE215s were best in class. initially they may be slightly odd to put on but if you have not had these kind of earphones you will get used to them.

Surely you can't get these at this price. It almost feels like robbing. I have had two pairs of these over the last 4 years, this being the second after the first one was warnout after every day use, and they are fantastic. Great quality, great alongside studio playing.

Incredible sound quality, especially bass. I am a drummer and use them on stage. Bass drum is awesome as long as you keep the phones fully in your ears. Cut down on stage sound too. I wish they were around 30 years ago, I wouldn’t be so deaf! Lol.

Was pondering which Sure earphones to acquire for a while.Noticed these half the price of the model above.Good clear crisp sound as you'd expect from Sure.Well worth the money infront of other alternatives.

Bought these as a present for my wife. The cable goes behind your ear and once you get the hang of this you will enjoy the great sound. Use smaller buds to get them well into your ear. Happy with the purchase.

These are the best headphones I've ever bought. Fit perfectly and don't fall out for the first time ever. Sound quality is excellent and they literally arrived the next day. Couldn't be happier

Not the quality I would expect from Shure; right foam sleeve was too loose on spindle so earpiece did not stay in position in ear. Sound quality OK for price.
