Simply great I was looking for a replacement for my MPH squeak brake. The Shimano XT brake is quick to install (there are videos on YouTube for absolute beginners). also fits on a bike that is no longer new and does what it has to do after braking and that makes it perfect. On longer Dowhills, the brakes get a little more aggressive. You have to feel that. Otherwise, if it gets really steep, the thing will throw you over the handlebars. It's a lot of fun and also enhances your bike.

I already had the brake on my old Specialized (pre-assembled) and was very satisfied. After years I have brought it back to me only for my giant. The brake came as a kit. Long story short ... I'm a layperson, but I'm not afraid of much. Cables laid through the frame, assembled, vented and ready. A good brake with decent performance (I have 100kg)

You had to assemble hydraulic hose for brake handle yourself. There was no instruction on how. Called support who promised to check and return. They didn't. Got to figure out how to cut hose and assembled. The brake itself works super shaved.
