After long deliberation we bought Shimano XC901 shoes. I have fairly wide feet and do not fit all brands. For this specialized xc comp shoes were worn which were super, but had a soft sole. Shimano shoes are really great. Good fit for my feet. Also in the front. With boa you can tighten well. Special material in heel cup ensures that your foot does not slip. Walking is a little less easy due to hard carbon sole, but it is still possible on sandy soil. I am very satisfied with it. the blue is metallic and therefore looks super cool on the bike. However, I have ordered other insole. They are quite flat from Shimano. Those of specialized are more formed.

As usual from Shimano, this shoe is of very good quality. The wide version is really very comfortable even for the widest foot! I ordered the 1/2 size larger and that was perfect in terms of fit. I still chose a Gaerne because the Shimano in black simply looks loveless. Otherwise a very great MTB shoe.

Absolutely imaginative shoe rigid and extremely lightweight. Having wide feet and stitching the buckle forward makes them fit my wide feet as well Plus when it is possible to adjust the shoe when you are in the click

This wide edition in mtb has much more room for toes than the road edition in wide. 28.5 cm / 11.3 wide = size 45. Rigid and comfortable shoes that provide top control.

Comfortable and seated as molded! 28.5 cm / 11.3 width = 45 wide. Best suited if you are narrow behind and have a wide forefoot. Very much better than the xc701.

The shoe had to be retracted initially. Then he felt better and better. The boa closure is simple, functional and allows one good entry. Good buy !
