Finally makes brakes strong enough for a clidesdale. I am tall and fairly strong, ride in dry conditions, and have to stop for a lot of traffic lights. Rim brakes have never been powerful enough for me, until now. I use these on cantilever and center-pull brakes. Both squealed horribly with their OEM pads, but are silent with these. Maybe a little squeak from the canti's when they haven't been used for a few weeks. I have used them in rain with little loss of power. They do seem sensitive to contamination on the rim.

I've tried various brand X brake pads for my Shimano Dura Ace brakes, but after walking around with black fingers every time I touched the rim of my wheels, I finally decided to bite the bullet and pay for the genuine article. What can I say? They stop my bike well, and they do not leave layers of residue on the rims, as my brand X pads did. It's difficult to beat Shimano quality.

These pads were for replacement of the same Shimano Dura Ace pads on my bicycle. The old pads were great and lasted a long time. The old pads appeared identical to the new ones.

Easy to install just remove one screw per pad and slide out. New pads just pop right in with no need to fiddle with the adjusting screw. Good price to boot. Brakes are like new.

Excellent stopping power: noticeably better than the greenish SwissStop pads that come stock with SRAM Force brakes (yes, they do fit SRAM cartridges).

Great pads not much else to say. Durability seems to be average. Breaking seems to be better then cheaper brands.

Works as intended and really improved the braking on an older road bike. The braking became much quieter too.

These are the OEM speced brake pads. I have no reason to change them, thus I stick to them.
