I somehow got more power from the brakes than my old Tektro HDM275. - After assembly (through the frame) I had to refill the brake and was also completely deflated except for the last air bubble. - After 2 rides the pressure point was spongy again - I'm also disappointed with Shimano that the lever cracks. (After calculating, I found out that the levers on the more expensive models up to the "Zee" and "Saint" series also crack). Dealer also did not respond to my request. It was my first and last Shimano brake. The next one will be a Maguara. I also have an MT520 with MT501 lever for the front, this brakes a little better, has a better pressure point and no crack in the lever.

Halfway through the first lap on the Thirst course, I got a bit of sand on my face because I was still braking on autopilot and demand that this brakes a lot more than Formula. Really ingenious brakes for a very low price and high quality.

Buy to replace an Avid elixir 5 And just the assembly is a breeze and as for the 4 pistons it's radical! Beware of those who are used to progressive braking. With shimano it's live straight away!
