This is going to be a five star bitch. First the concept of wide seems to be a relative term as opposed to narrow, it seems shoe designer do not think that some one with long feet would also have wide feet. Second why do they put heel tabs on anything over size ten? Those tabs simply slip under the heel and are painful until you wheedle them out with a spoon. Thirdly why are the straps so short? It it would be reasonable to think that volumetrically the foot would have greater girth for any given length considering that most people seeking this shoe size have swollen feet. Still trying tomwaer them in before trying them as bike shoes.However a look at the forums indicate that most trainers wear out at the heel due to these tabs being flicked back and forth.
