The best Shimano quality shows through here. I have a 10 year old XT derailleur 9 speed Kona bike which is still going strong and still shifts snappily but eventually the drive chain wears and it is pointless replacing the crankset and chain for an overhaul (as I am doing at the moment) without replacing this. 11-34 is a good compromise for a mountain bike if you go off road a lot but use it on roads too. Bangs for bucks this represents very good value.

Bought this as a necessity purchase because when I changed my chain it became apparent the cassette was beyond repair too. I didn’t expect a massively noticeable change but really got it! Nice and smooth and a lot lighter than my previous - like a new bike! Also pretty certain this is genuine shimano not a copy.

11-34t as described... but the one i recieved was not shiny chrome plated as per description..does the same job but not as blingy... if you like shiny things
