This is an OK game, and enjoyable if you simply play it for its own sake and not expect anything that isn't on the tin. . . if you expect it to be the same as Professor Layton, as some reviewers have, then that's not a fair comparison. (I found Prof Layton a bit boring, with all those unrelated puzzles - but to each his own) The storyline is complex and a bit fussy, but it doesn't get in the way of some nice graphics and fun things to find, open, bend, break and so on, interspersed with some good lifelike videos. I may, just possibly, have been disappointed if I'd bought it at the full recommended price, but for the current available price it's well worth the shot. Nice to see the Nintendo games are not just chases,

I'm unable to use a product link, Sherlock Holmes Mystries are similar,to Agatha Christies, Character Hercule Poriot, they are both about aPrivate Detective who has a Companion, Collegue who helps them to solveMuder Mystries, and explains to the people what he is doing and allalong the way explains to his Companion how he is using the evidence andclues, and how he knows who is a suspect and who is an innocent bystander,so at the same time he, they are telling the reader viewer what'shappening and how he comes to his their conclusions.Also both have a Chief Inspector who they help, but let the Police takethe credit, the limelight.

You do not have to look for answers to anything in this game, it has it's own walk-through in it. Which comes in pretty handy for some things. Do remember to save your game a lot. I had it pretty much finished and it went back to the beginning of the story. I don't know if I accidentally hit something or if the game freaked out. Did not have the problem after saving it as I replayed the last section.

If you have plenty of time on your hands, then this game is for you.I bought it for my dad for fathers day, and i have had a quick play myself, and i found it quite difficult.My dad lost his patience, but keeps trying.I'm sure once you get into it it's a great game, as a friend of mine has it and has enjoyed playing.

This has got to be the best ds game I have played so far - good storyline - great puzzles - some infuriating but still great - and a good help screen if stuck - it was wonderful and I was sad to see the end!!!!

I enjoy Holmes and find the games very difficult they require both skill and the process of lateral thinking. You need patience to get into it but it gets easier with a bit of practice.

found this game to be exciting and it gave you lots to think about and good to look for items. It took me quite a while to finih the game but very enjoyable

this game arrived Friday and finished it this afternoon!(Sunday) just could not put it down. amazing graphics and interaction. brilliant game!

This game is brilliant. Takes a minute or two to get used to the camera angles etc but once you have you're rollin. Couldn't put it down!!

We bought this for the kid but we have been playing it too, it took a bit to master (unlike child) but is great fun.
