I've been using this pen for a week now and I'm really happy with it. I'm a student and like to take plenty of notes, so I get through a lot of pens. This is light but slightly chunky which gives it a nice balance in the hand. It writes cleanly and has a consistent ink flow which doesn't splodge or smudge. There's a rubber grip before the tip which makes it comfortable for longer writing sessions. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and think the art design of the pen is absolutely gorgeous. Vibrant colours, a Yoda motif and 2 famous quotes could have looked cluttered but they've done a great job here aesthetically. There were a couple of drawbacks.

I received my pen yesterday,and I have to say that I was immediately impressed. The one I was sent was the Yoda pen, and I know I will be adding the R2D2 and Darth Vader edition pens to my collection too. It features Yoda's distinctive green skin tone, with the beige of his robes to give a beautiful colour contrast to the look of the pen. It also features his famous quote. "Do or do not, there is no try." Which personally I find very inspirational,when trying to knock out an essay in record time! The pen also features a cute little Yoda beneath the top. The lid is a nice secure fit,with a handy,strong clip for popping it into your top pocket or shirt.The pen itself is a delight to use.

I really like the Sheaffer Vader pen because it both speaks to the geek and the professional in me, and because it works as both a business implement and a conversation piece.As far as look, the details here work better than most item representations, meaning that you can see the Vader in this. I always hate it when that does not work out and when the theme seems too abstract, but this looks pretty awesome. The black and silver with symbol overlay really accents the pen, and you also have STAR WARS stamped on it and a symbol as well.When it comes to functionality, this writes perfectly, gliding and adding the perfect amount of ink. I love the way this feels and I love the way it effortlessly writes,

Sheaffer's pen is for Star Wars fans who don't want to look geeky at the office. The Darth Vader rollerball pen is black with silver-gray stripes with the names "Darth" and "Vader" subtly printed at the ends of two of the stripes. There's also the suggestion of a Vader helmet that I didn't even notice at first. The pocket clip and end caps are a nice shiny silver.The pen itself is made of shiny black plastic and has a removable cap. The ink flows smoothly - I'd say it's medium rather than fine - and the pen feels very good in my small-glove-size hand. (I thought it would be too thick, but I was wrong.) My large-glove-size husband also finds it easy and comfortable to hold.The nifty thing about this pen is that you could be a doctor consulting a patient,

Very nice pen with removable cap. Write smoothly without skips. Feels good in hand. Comfortable barrel size and weight. Refillable and refills available on Amazon.I got the Darth Vader one. It is black with metallic sparkles. There are three prominent painted white lines running down the body. Painted on the cap is the triangle-shaped mouth piece, which is the Dark Lord's iconic look. And the name Darth Vader is also printed on the body of the pen, so if there was any doubt that this is a Star Wars/Darth Vader inspired pen, that should put all questions to rest.Why doesn't the pen look more like Darth Vader? Perhaps the pen cap could be more fluted bell-shaped like Darth Vader's helmet.

I am reviewing Sheaffer Fine Writing Instrument Fountain Pen (E0920851S) NOT Cross Men's Reader Glasses.Well, it doesn't have the Star Wars logo on it, but, it does have Darth Vader's name on it with his helmet.It is sleek and writes like a dream. I really prefer blue ink, but this black gel ink is very striking on white paper. It doesn't smudge. The pen glides so smoothly across the page you hardly realize you are writing. I really love this pen! Another great thing about the pen is it's weight. A lot of the really expensive pens are fat and very heavy. This one is just the right weight so that you can maneuver it easily, but not so heavy your finger get tired holding it. It's heavier than a Bic or Papermate,

As a Star Wars fan I was excited to get this pen.It arrived in a nice presentation box.The 1st thing I noticed about the pen was the main Yoda colours. Beige and brown for his robes and a green top.The rebel logo sits on the pen lid, while the main pen has two classic Yoda quotes. "Do or do not, there is no try" and "fear is the path to the darkside".Also on the base of the pen is a little Yoda face.Then pen itself feels very sturdy but not too heavy in your hand.The pen writes really smoothly which is great as I do alot of note taking.This pen would make an excellent gift for any Star Wars fan and looks great as I mentioned before in its box.

So I have had this for a bit as I wanted to give it a good go before reviewing and I love it! It has a nice weight to it, it's not to thin nor is it too chunky the ink just glides as you write and the ink is nice and dark. Though I would not recommend for lefty's as it does smear. It puts down a bold line at a .7 nib you can also get refills for when you run out. I would love however a thinner line - having gotten used to a .38 I would love to see that size release. It has a lot of detail on the body of the pen and the grip is soft and rubbered. easy to refill with Sheaffer refills with a screw body. Would really recommend for that friend that loves Star Wars.

A top quality pen. Chunky like a fountain pen and a nice weight (not too heavy, not too light) combined with a rubberised grip means it's really comfortable to write with. The black gel ink flows nicely and is satisfyingly dark. There's a sturdy clip and replacing the lid rewards you with a satisfying click. The Yoda design is fun and true to the images shown on Amazon. The brown theme a little more daring than the usual dark colours making the Star Wars theme more noticeable. I would recommend this pen to older children and adults who are fans of the franchise.Disclosure - I received a sample of the Yoda pen for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

This is a solid, nicely balanced and slightly chunky pen, which is a really good weight for writing. The rubberised grip makes it easy to handle, and it feels pleasantly robust in your hands. It has that satisfying clunk when you replace the lid. I took it to a workshop where I wrote a day of notes - some 22 sides of A4 - and it performed flawlessly. I've been somewhat amused to have Yoda reminding me that there is no try while I get cracking on a really big writing project. The ink quality is also good with no ghosting in my diary or my notebook. You should know that I was offered this pen as a review copy; my opinions are completely my own.

When that happens, this is the pen you'll want to use. It feels balanced in your hand (posted or not), it looks cool, and it's bound to increase your geek cred around the office or lab.And if anyone asks when and where you got it, you can just casually say, "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."

Super fast delivery of my Yoda Gel Ink Pen. It's extremely well packaged and came perfectly gift boxed ready for all Star Wars fans!It's a great design, in the classic colours of beige and green. It has a lovely feel and weight to it - a real joy to write with. The ink is an intense black and it doesn't smudge or run, or soak through your papers. I have been using it this weekend to write cards with and write all my to do lists ready for my holidays! It looks great on different types of paper and card. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Star Wars related gift as it's a great price too!

I love this pen as a star wars geek, my son loves it as well he's a huge star wars fan but being 14 he don't want huge star wars writing down the side like most themed pens you can get , this pen was perfect for him he could still rock his geek and have a grown up adult pen ,It's amazing to write with its so smooth and doesn't catch on any paper , my son has been using it for school doing his gcse course work with it and his hand writing has improved he loves using the pen and I'm definitely doing to get him the whole set for Christmas

Received my Sheaffer POP R2-D2 pen yesterday and I haven't put it down since. As a Star Wars and stationery fan this is a brilliant addition to any pencil case - mine has accompanied me to all of my work meetings (and it's had plenty of complements). The pen writes extremely well and looks excellent. I was very surprised at the good weight of the pen - making it look and feel like a real quality item. I'll be buying the Darth Vader and Yoda versions real soon.

Nice looking pen for the dark side goer. It writes smoothly with the included black ink and the pen is attractive. The Vader breathing mask is a nice touch. Good that the design is subtle. My only gripe is that this is not a heavy duty pen. It is pretty light and feels maybe a bit on the inexpensive side. It writes great, but does not have that heavy feel like a nicer pen. But you get what you pay for so just know that going in. Nice heavy pens are expensive.
