This is a small reel, a very nice, cute little thing, perfect for float fishing, or mackerel fishing, from the pier or those types of thing. A really great model for a beginner or young person, but also good for the more seasoned angler on light tackle. Nicely made and feels good in the hand. A nice quality finish to it, my only concern (and it's only a very minor issue) is the rear drag is cool and fine, but is difficult to get it *very* tight, but that's no-worries - it's not designed to be loaded with 30lb monofilament, or really catching anything over the 10lb class anyway, so you're not gonna give it a massive amount of stress (unless you're one of those who like a real challenge such as catch a big bull-huss on light tackle,

Love the balance of the reel, bought it for use with the sigma supra 12ft match rod , both handle really well, my spools were one deep and one shallow, Iv loaded them with 3lb and 4lb line, use them both for float fishing, I would highly recommend both rod and reel combination, as Iv had great success with both of them , landed carp, bream and roach.
