These headphones are fantastic if like me you need them for critical referance headphones. Since ive recently got into making my own music i needed something that i could monitor the low end with as my monitors only went as low as 40hz. After getting these they really do the job as bass referance cans, and they have a nice flat response pattern for a natural uncoloured response. It is better to get a dedicated subwoofer, but as im on a tight budget these do their job nicely. However for people who want their music to sound good DONT BUY THEM. As it suggests on the box these are PROFESSIONAL headphones, which means they dont colour the music or give it that 'disco smile'.

I had initially read great reviews on these headphones and they all said exactly the same thing... 'They are great'. For the price they are very professional and extremely comfortable to wear. I can literally wear these for 10 hours and not even notice them on my head. The weight, design and padding make them a very good choice for people spending hours in studios or playing games excetera. The outside noise cancelling properties are superb, I am always startled to see my wife should she enter the room as I have not heard her coming, and believe me... She is noisy. Now for the most important feature, the sound... They sound like I have new ears... Nuff said, buy them,

They are very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable headphones I've ever bought and I have a very big head, they adjust nicely to my above average skull size. The noise cancellation from the outside world is very good. Perfect from noisy environments where you want to focus. However these headphones are not perfect overall. The bass is pretty poor and that means they aren't very good for listening to bass heavy music. Also the coil in the cable is kind of annoying but that might just be a pet peeve.Overall however these headphones were a good purchase and I would recommend them as long as you don't plan to listen to bass heavy music with them.

Great pair of headphones, i bought i pair for myself for drumming with a metronome (the bass in the metronome comes out really well) but seriously really good quality sound. I also bought some for my brother who is a dj and he loves them. They have good isolation (although you can hear most outside noise when wearing them without music) loud cymbals are reduced to non harmful levels. Coil wire is great no more broken headphones with pulled out cables and it looks professional. the cups also swivel around which is good for dj's though they still fit well and are sturdily built! good stuff hope this was helpful.

I am a semi-professional DJ and I like the fact that these headphones cover your whole ear (depending on the size of your ears) but I imagine they would completely cover most peoples ears,which means they cut out almost all of the ambient noise that you would receive as a DJ within a pub/club envoironment,which in turn means tight mixes.The clarity of the is not quite as good as the HD25 but in a club envoironment you are fighting against volume. Top quality headphones equal to Technics RP-DH 1200 in fact better because of completely covering the ear.

I bought these headphones for use with a "line 6 pod" after reading reviews, I was sceptical about them. But once I won them and tried them I think they are fantastic for my needs. And should imagine they would cope well for most musical needs I.E studio work, home recording,The sound is excellent the high's are high and the low's are low, and everything inbetween. They are very comfortable and block any outside noise, I would highly recommend them

Love these headphones! Mixes are already sounding 10 times better! Bass end is quality and tight, although some people may feel it's lacking I think it's got the perfect balance! Great mids and highs also! Though there's is a very slight scoop at the higher end I feel this was probably intended to reduce ear fatigue but it's only a few dbs maybe 3 or 4 so shouldn't affect your is decisions too drastically! Overall I'm loving these!

Firstly, the seller was excellent! As for the headphones they are brilliant and work well to reveal what's wrong (or right) with a mix, especially in conjunction with my AKG K240s which have a completely different sound so between the two and plus a listen on my studio monitors I'm able to make pretty good judgements. (The AKGs are much lighter, but the HD 280s aren't excessively heavy and have better sound insulation.)

These headphones are a great buy for those that want a really balanced natural sound, which I love. You can hear so much detail. Amazing quality for the price.The only slight negatives are that they don’t come with a case and the cable is a bit heavy and cumbersome with the coils but a really great sounding headphone as far as I’m concerned and comfy too!

I needed some closed back headphones to cut out back-ground noise and keep my noise in. (If you see what I mean) These headphones fit the bill perfectly. I find them light and comfortable to wear while playing the keyboard, though the base is maybe a bit too good for listening to some type types of music.

Cannot say that much as I haven't use any other products like this one, but the quality is great for such price and the work absolutely nicely. A bit too tight to put on your had as it makes me worry I can break it then (like I did before), but generally very good and recommended.

Bought these headphones to use with a digital piano, the reproduction is spot on and can't tell the difference between listening to the pianos' own sound system and listening with the HD280 Pros. Used with a top of the range Yamaha Clavinova CLP380.

I do use it a lot ( i mean hours) they are very good for recording vocals and even mastering. Bare in mind they will not completely cut off the sound so keep the instrumental or click lower anyway. Enjoy!

very good earmuffs, best i've ever had and i've walked thru my life with phones on my head. not sleek and flashy fashion gear, these are made for listening sound and music.
