If you are considering buying a SEBO X upright vacuum cleaner only the X4 and X5 models come with this tool as standard. The old X1 Automatic and X1.1 do without this additional brush and may be require purchasing if it is actually required. This is why Sebo sell the larger dusting brush and clamp for their X series as an optional tool, even though in effect the tool can be used on all of the Sebo vacuums thanks to its friction fit neck and a lack of pip locks.This was the first tool that I ever purchased for my late parents' original X1 Automatic - an upright vacuum that I still use every day and is around 15 years old.The previous 14 year old brush has managed to get lost only a few weeks ago after a house move and that's why I required to buy another one as replacement - it is exactly the same as my old one, aside from the dark grey colour - which I actually like better, now! In terms of build, Sebo have used a thick PVC quality here and its standard grey colouring means scratches are present but they don't deter the tool's use.The design of the brush is triangular and has permanently stitched nylon bristles that are long, soft and delicate to the touch and largely clog free when suction is applied/fixed to the hose. I've always appreciated the larger size of this brush because the smaller dusting brush available for the K series has the downside of the bristles being sucked into the main dust channel when full power is applied.Out of the box, I received a forward facing clamp in the same dark grey colour. I have quite a few spares including the original rear facing clamps which often made this tool fall off because of its position. The front clamp is easy to slide on by loosening the single crosshead screw and gently opening up the two sides. It is far faster to unlock the SEBO's handle from the lock partition and slide this clamp on than prising the two parts apart after removing the screw on the clamp! Doing it this way by sliding it over and up the metal spine of the handle will allow the clamp to last longer than splitting it apart and then pushing it together again on the handle spine!The key to the design of this brush looks very simply but in use and in my experience I find it isn't just the bristles alone; the neck on the dusting brush can turn in a 360° axis and pivots the brush downwards or upwards vertically, or to the left or right horizontally with certain angles making it easy to lock at different angles for tricky cleaning accessibility.Although Miele have a much more organic idea of dusting brushes and offer a similar neck twisting design, Sebo's dusting brush here has a suitably triangular design that allows me to get this tool to fit snugly into right angle corners making it a lot more purposeful and has edge cleaning supported by its right angle sides thanks to its triangular design.In use the brush is gentle enough to be used on precious hard floor surfaces, ceilings, and tables and picks up dust very effectively, the only downside being that cob webs often have to be pushed off into the suction dust channel at times.However for use on my laptop and likewise equipment the larger dusting brush gets up dust quickly and efficiently without further manually dusting dust "literally around". The brush can also be used straight onto Sebo's extension hose, or additional wand or the standard hose upon any of Sebo's vacuums including the Felix/Dart models. It does what it says when it comes to cleaning up dust.However, unless you do a lot of dusting with reliance from a vacuum cleaner's hose, I can see why it isn't a standard tool on all of their vacuums. Put simply, the T shaped upholstery tool is something I much prefer using for generally sucking dirt out of corners.This larger dusting brush is a necessity if you need to clean dusty areas a lot or if you need bristles to clean up dust in a compact way with paint brush like consistency. We bought this to replace a dusting brush that we inexplicably lost. This is a tool that we use a lot and find it very effective. We would agree with previous comments that it should come with the vacuum as a standard accessory rather than having to be bought separately.

This brush is a great addition to an already great vacuum cleaner. Useful for hard but potentially delicate surfaces ie skirting boards, tv stands, car interior..... even those pesky spiders webs around the house. Also a very reasonable price

This is a great addition to the Sebo. It makes life so much easier, especially when vacuuming the interior of our Family cars.It is a very effective product.Definitely recommended.

Works well but the clip that attaches to metal column of the vacuum cleaner is far too big and thus both it and the attachment rattle around whilst vacuuming.

After getting a brush on my new downstairs Sebo, I treated my old upstairs one to a brush too. Great for Venetian blinds, skirting boards etc.

I use this brush all the time so much better to suck up the dust than just move it about with a duster
