My son had recently bought this ps4 Hard drive from Argos and was very happy with it . The Hard drive does not need it's own power lead as it works off the PS4 when connected. The set up was easy and now I have my games installed without constantly deleting one game so i can install another. The storage and unit size is perfect as it sits next to the ps4 even though the lead is short . You can buy a Seagate lead if you would like it longer but my hard drive is next to my ps4 so not a problem .

Personally, I'd been looking for a hard drive for a while to allow me to play my PS4 games without having to delete a game each time I wanted to play another, and I can honestly say when I found this as such a good price in Argos I was so thankful, as normally they're so expensive, so far I've been able to download all 37 games and still have over 1 and a half TB of space left on the hard drive. It was an easy set up and quick installs for every game, couldn't be more happier!

Initially I had issues where my PS4 wouldn't recognise the software was even connected. I would put it in/out again and it was very frustrating. I was going to return it. But the Seagate Customer service people were very lovely, and fast at getting back to me, then made a few suggestions. It transpired that my PS4 USB port wasn't good, and I just needed to use the other one. It has worked without a hitch since! It's super easy to connect up, isn't noisy, and looks nice :)

Super easy to set up and was able to start using it straight away. Picked it up the day after I ordered it (which is so convenient) and I’ve been using it since and haven’t had a single problem. Would highly recommend for anyone who is running out of space on their PS4 hard drive and doesn’t want to have to delete and reinstall games constantly like I was doing before I got this. It doesn’t change the way you use the games stored on it or anything. Excellent, no complaints.

This external harddrive is like the header says, an absolute God send. Before I owned this product I had CoD Modern Warfare and Fifa 20 as playable games. However with the ever expanding list of updates and patch's I was getting to a point in which I had to choose one of the other. Now, I don't have a choice to make as I've been able to put all my games in one place. The setup was incredibly simple and it runs games as if they were on the internal harddrive. A must have.

If you have a 500MB PlayStation, the Seagate 2TB PS4 Gaming Hard Drive is essential. It's small compact size, makes it easy to transport and to store away when not in use. It's easy to set up, just plug it into your console, follow the onscreen instructions and away you go. The only negative is, if you drop it, it can break very easily so get the PS4 online storage as backup, otherwise you'll lose everything.

As many others will have done, I bought this HDD as my 500gb PS4 had inevitably run out of space. Installation couldn't be easier, just plug in the USB cable and go to settings to format the drive. Done. Whole setup took less than a minute.As for performance, it's basically silent in operation as far as I can make out and downloading games takes about the same time as the normal PS4 drive.

I bought this as I have a PlayStation 4 Pro but still needed more room as I have so many games. This is absolutely perfect for what it is needed for, is simple to set up and it does not slow games down and also games still play in the same exactly the same quality as if they were saved to the PlayStation.. Great Buy

Bought for a 16yo with far too many large games downloaded on his ps4.... plug and play so for once I didn't have to set it up. Games moved over easily so more space on ps4 and it likes that! Helpful for anyone who plays on any of the popular(expensive..) and new(ridiculously expensive...) online mainly games....

Love this gaming drive for my ps4,we have two ps4 with games installed on the hard drive so once we finished a game plug it into the other ps4 so partner can play the game without having to redownload or reinstall it's super handy and a good quality product. Would definitely recommend if you are low on space.

I needed this product for my ps4 as I was running low on storage. All I had to do was plug select on my system and play it was easy to set up and does not slow downloads. The data transfer is quick and performs well.If you need more space or just want a more portable storage this I definitely for you.

Great little hard drive for the PS4, allows my son to have so much more games stored on his hard drive. WIth the sizes of games these days you can really only get around 4 or 5 on a 500g PS4, this expansion makes things so much better and easier. No delay in loading times or running issues.

Does what it says on the tin.. however as its specifically for a ps4 would expect some instructions on how to transfer files over to it without having to google it.Also if one of your files you wish to transfer needs updating it will not transfer until.done so. Had to work that out myself.

I have purchased it as I needed an extra storage for my PS4. I read few reviews of different HDD on the market and decided to go with this one. I'm extremely happy about how quick it was to set up, how many games it can hold and how tiny it is. Definitely highly recommended purchase.

Recently purchased this for our Sons PS4 as the 500gb hard drive inside the console filled up with game apps. I would recommend this as it was an easy set up, no stress! The transfer of apps from the console to the external hard drive took around 30mins and he now has a 2tb PS4.
