Found this purchase to be well worth the money. Definitely is sturdy enough to hold the weight it says it does. I'm no light thing and it definitely holds me with no worries of exploding or deflating. As other customers say, it does start to deflate after a few days but that's expected. Just take the pump to it and give it a boost before you use it and you're good to go.The ball came with no instructions or exercise guides but for £7.99 I could hardly expect that. There are plenty of DVDs out there that explain what to do (although if you're thrifty like I am, you can just look up amateur videos on youtube who will explain how you use these to exercise.Found sitting on it for a bit really alleviates my back and neck pain.Although it's not meant for the purpose, after a hard hour of exercising, sitting back and putting your feet on it is very relaxing.A good way to get fit without straining yourself, will let you practise sit ups and push ups a little easier and let you work on your core muscles without expensive machines. Worth investing in, even if you're going to get bored of it and use it as a chair.

Nice small box delivered with a hand pump and plug. The little hand pump is a good little bonus but will seem like an eternity to do from beginning to end so I did it with my mouth until it was a good size then used the pump to get the fuller size I needed. I got this for my wife as a birthing ball and exercise ball 'eventually'. It was smaller than I was expecting but all in all a great little buy. You can't complain at that price. I received a promo code also which made it even sweeter. Once you have used hand pump to desired level of inflation there is a little plastic plug to keep the air in.The temptation to go and play football with it with the kids was too much so be warned give it straight to your wife or you too could break a light in the house leaving you in the dog house.Perfect for what we need seems good quality so won't puncture easily so would recommend as a great value purchase

Love it, Takes some getting used to when you are using it for Yoga/Pilates etc especially in regards to balance, I recommend a good surface when using it so that the ball has even less chance to slip or wobble. Laminate or polished floors it will stick to a bit, Gym Mats any downward pressure will push it slightly into the mat, both of these help with anti slipping. A carpet is not as helpful though I never slipped it wobbled a lot lol.In Conjunction with a Pilates On The Ball DvD I brought, I have made good use of this item and have definitely worked my body in ways previously unfelt. Simple enough to set up too, though you need to be quick getting the stopper back in as it lets air out faster than a bike inner tube (not as bad as a balloon though thankfully).=)

The ball is made of a strong material so you can be comfortable knowing that it wont pop. It comes with a pump that is really good and easy to use, inflating the ball quickly. The ball allows a variation of different exercises and its bumped edges give grip, keeping you well supported and preventing injury. The ball is of a size that fits most adults comfortably. The ball comes with a stopper which fits in tightly and does not come out under large amounts of pressure, keeping the ball inflated. The ball does not require inflating regularly as the air seal is very strong. There is a storage bag included which is very handy and keeps everything well stored. This is an excellent piece of exercise equipment and I would defiantly recommend.

Only received this today so will amend this if my view changes over time...Item is great - cheap and does the job. I bought it to sit on instead of a chair to see if it helps my back.A lot of people say that item is smaller than advertised and goes down. I thought that this might be the case, as after I blew it up and sat on it for an hour, the ball felt deflated. I think this is just the material stretching though, as I have put more air in it a couple of times and now it is great! Also put washing up liquid around the valve to see if there was any air coming out, but seems to be secure!Definitely can't complain for £7

At first I was really dissapointed when this arrived as it was flat as a pancake, then I stupidly realised you have to inflate it, this took me quite a while as I am asthmatic, again I feel stupid as it was supplied with a pump, when I finally got it fully inflated I sat on it to try it out, imagine my dissapointment when I couldnt find the handles, this was no space hopper, again looking at the description I felt stupid, we have been using it as a beach ball, great fun.

I was worried that the gym ball was too cheap, would be difficult to blow up and not able to bear my weight.I'm quite a large person and pregnant so would be getting larger. The ball has worked excellently and not even worried me at any point and I am currently about 8 months pregnant. It was very quick to pump up, bearing in mind it is a hand pump. It only took me about 5-10 mins.Overall very pleased with purchase.

Very happy with my purchase. Great quality ball. Takes a bit of effort to pump it up as only a hand pump. But cant complain for the price. It's survived my four children pinching it for a sneaky play/bounce.it seems colour is luck of the draw. Mine is purple which makes no difference to me.And delivery was fantastic. Actually came 5 days earlier than expected! All in all I would highly recommend purchasing.

They are so comfortable to sit on, but this one isn't large enough to sit at a table/desk and use a computer - my mistake. It would be even better if it had a valve in!!!!! Really difficult to blow up hard enough to be useful, because of the speed with which you need to plug it after blow up. 3 hands would be good! The pump is excellent, by the way - it doesn't take long to blow up at all.

Its a nice tough ball. Pumps up easily with the pump provided. You can make it softer or harder as you like. Has not burst yet despite the children playing on it alot. Needed a bit of re-inflation after a couple of weeks because it had gone down slightly. I use it to sit on to improve core muscles and for back pain relief in pregnancy. Seems to help with the back ache.

I was initially looking for a second kneeling chair (have used one for many years and love it). As the good ones are expensive I went for this cheap ball instead as an experiment. Got a bit worried when I saw the flimsy pump, but all worked fine and the ball functions perfectly as an office chair alternative. Saved myself a lot of money and my back is very happy.

Great price for this one. The addition of a hand pump is almost not needed - it's not all that great, I just used my mouth.I use it for sitting at my desk, or just doing sit ups. It's really helped me with lower back problems and helping me with my core without feeling like I've just been ran over by a car.

This was good for the price. I wanted to use it as a birthing ball, size was good, easy to inflate but when partner started sitting on it (he's heavier than me!) it needed pumping up again fairly quickly. Pump is easy to use and plug quick and easy to insert. Comes with spare plug as well, which is handy.

Got this exercise ball this week and I think it's great. Yes the pump isn't so helpful and the ball deflates quite quickly, but it's so easy to re pump it or use your mouth. For people complaining about how it's not suitable for a chair, obviously not! It's an exercise ball and it does it's job as one :)

I used this as my birthing ball - not at the birth but building up to it - it was good to sit on and bounce when I was uncomfortable towards the end. My two year old son also thinks its the best thing ever and is one of his favourite toys which he rolls round the room and bounces off of...
