I bought this product as an easy way to get extra calories and protein into my diet without having to keep worrying about extra meals all the time as I already eat four a day. It has certainly done the job in keeping my calories count up as there are about 600 calories/serving.According to the information on the tub you can take up to 3 servings per day. I have only been using it as an extra meal so have been using 1 per day and if you do so it lasts 34 days (according to basic math), but it's never quite that accurate, you'll get about a month out of it though.As far as taste goes I don't know why people are complaining.

I use this mixture in half measures (~75g) as a recovery shake. This provides a quick & easy post-workout drink containing 24g of protein and just under 300 calories - perfect for what I need and the tub (it's actually more like a bucket) lasts for ages.In my opinion the full serving is overkill for most people, especially if you plan to drink 2 or 3 per day. You should be getting the bulk of your nutrition from real food. There is a lot of sugar in these shakes so just be sensible.Some people have complained about the taste. If you're drinking three servings a day, then yes, you're going to get fed up of it. But this is not the same as it tasting bad. It's actually tastes alright.

Okay shake drink but not as tasty as the protein whey, scimax do. Drinkable Though.But NO WAY will I put 3 full scoops into a 500ml of full skimmed milk, its that thick so I now do 2 ish scoops with over 500ml of full fat milk, to cover the calories lost out of that 1 scoop I am losing. Thats about 800-1000 kcal shake, just once a day.Tried it with just water, tastes vile nasty man, wont be doing that again.Only been using it a few weeks but noticing gains already, was okay at £47+ but had to wait ages for delivery :( will only buy it again for £40 under then I would be happy. It comes with 3 bags of the formula and Ive already cained one packet, using 2 scoops, wouldnt be happy,

I've tried all types of creatine and protein shakes but this brand works for me. I also use the creatine tabs from SCI MX. Very convenient. 12 years lifting, tried all sorts. I'm not one for protein shakes as I can't stand the thickness of them and it's a chore to get them down you and then there's the disgusting taste to add to it. However, this actually tastes ok. I wouldn't buy it for pleasure but it's definitely the best protein shake I've tried. I don't use the recommended 3 scoops, 1.5 scoops and 500ml of FF milk does it for me. This way you still get 45 + grams of protein. Plenty of fat but mixed with a good diet and heavy squats it does me just fine.I've given 4 stars because I'm still waiting for the protein shake that gives you all the protein but with only 1 required scoop!

It does what it says on the tin. Obviously it's no miracle and a good lifting regime is needed alongside! However in a standard shaker bottle which can hold 600ml of fluid, you'll struggle to get 3 scoops plus the 500ml of water in there. The result is that the shake is very 'gloopy' in texture, similar to egg whites. The chocolate is also very rich. I've found that taking a half portion (1.5 scoops with 500ml water) twice daily improves the taste and texture no end. This also helps spread your protein intake a little more. I would thoroughly recommend this product but personally find strawberry flavour more palatable.

Great product like most of the sci mx range.Chocolate flavour is a little chemically but not bad, think cheap hot chocolate taste,It says mix with water but I mix it into 600mls of whole milk which boosts the protein to around 60g and the calories to nearer 800Kcals.I use it before be as my nightly recovery shake as it has 9 hour slow release protein to keep muscles supplied with needed nutrients as they repair.good stuff and a great price.

Great product - only been taking this for about a month so far combined with regular training and starting to see some results.The only bad reviews I've seen have been about the taste - I really have no idea why? This is one of the least offensive tasting shakes I've had, a bit thick if you use the measurements on the tub but just add a bit more water to solve that. Not bad tasting at all, would strongly recommend

This is an excellent weight gain protein. It has no creatine in it, so you can take it all year round on a daily basis, without having to cycle it. It's easy on the stomach, except if taken with milk ( which I do Not recommend). You'll experience noticeable weight gain, muscle volumisation, endurance during training and it feels you up due to its thickness.

Bought this before, but not the larger size will see how long it lasts. When I first tried this product a few months ago it was a pretty different taste to the whey protein by SCI MX but after a while you do get used to it. Just drink it in one go - if its too thick add a bit more water. Will buy again when I run out. Fast Delivery.

Great value for money when comparing to local Tesco etc. Mixes well, tastes great. I'd recommend only using 2 scoops instead of 3 in any standard shaker... 3 scoops seems to leave little space for mixing all, end up with some lumps and powder stuck at the top.If using a blender should be fine though.

Actually I like the taste, ok it's not a frijj milkshake but it's not too sweet which I prefer, some protein shakes can make me feel sick when too sweet post workout. Really good nutrition values, one of the better protein shakes out there!

Amazing product. Two shakes a day (with high protein & carb meals & daily gym session) have helped me put on a much needed stone within 2 months. Will be buying until i'm at my desired weight then onto their leancore version.

bought a few of these if your into your training its a good product to get gives you that extra bit of energy also find any strains ect heal faster plus for the price its a good buy compared to most.

I really like this, it does what I expected it to, & it's one of the better tasting protein shakes. I prefer it with milk as it can be a bit grainy with water, but that's not a problem overall.
