An MTB hose like any other with the advantage that it is about half lighter. You will lose meaningful weight on rotating parts, which means that the bike can be controlled better. The lighter hose is therefore a sensible investment. He holds less air, but that hardly occurs. One should constantly check the tire pressure all the time. The tamper resistance is also provided with this hose.

Rating refers to the "extralight". Good compromise of weight, price and durability. With the number of plates, I can not tell a difference to the heavy model of Schwalbe. For this, it is lighter and fits better into the saddle bag. Covers with its size from 1.5 to 2.25 exactly the range, which I need. Is the hose of choice for years on all our wheels (MTB and trecking).

I have tried this Schaluc two versions. On the one hand the extralight variant, on the other the ultralight variant. Both hoses held the pressure, both hoses showed no mistakes during processing. It should also be mentioned that the XXlight hose also works in a 2.25 tire.

For the best price of 6 € you get a super-smooth hose, which does not match the heavier SV13 in nothing. Thanks to the thinner design, this means that a hose takes less space in the saddle bag (always carry the hose in a sock or similar to avoid chafing)

Well, what can I say, I drive the 14er in the lightest xx version for over 3 years in various bikes, and I had in the whole time only a single plate, by a puncture but I am sure that would have killed any tube without sealant

Drive these hoses in 3 wheels and am very satisfied so far! Property over 3000km had only a plate, which was however quickly repaired and still holds up today. One should also consider with which coat such tubes runs

Super hose. Despite the weight it offers enough pannensicherheit. Ideal for someone who would like to pay attention to the weight of the bike. I drive the hoses with the puncture tape from Zefal

The hose is really extremely light (XX-variant) and you also notice the difference. I could not establish an increased susceptibility to breakdown. So recommendable

This super super super light weight hose lets you fly and is really fun to accelerate! Have no more mishaps with it than with heavier hoses also (~ 2 / season)

Use the hose in my two MTB and have so far had no problems, if a platter still similar complaints. Scarf-type workmanship and absolutely recommendable!

Have this hose at both bikes turn and am very satisfied. Only 1-2x a year a breakdown so you do not have to worry about this part :)

Absolutely recommended tube! Super weight and still just as resistant to puncture as the SV13. Also with 2.5 tires no problems.

Although the part is very thin, it holds surprisingly much.Tipp: hold on to it because maximum allowable air pressure !!!!!
