To be honest you don't really _need_ these, the chances of coming off on the inside of a hairpin is pretty low unless you have a long car going very slow, but they do improve the look significantly and come into serious service if you use the 45 degree R1 curves to make a left - right - right - left chicane where cars will end up on the kerbs.For the price I'm happy just for the visuals.
