Two years ago I bought a second generation Panasonic Bridge Camera FZ330 replacing my much loved FZ200. This new unit has many upgrades including weather and dust proofing and the ability to record 4k videos with the potential to record stills at 4k. The card I decided upon at purchase was a 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC V30 U3 C10 writing at 95MB/s. At the time it was incredible however when the latest SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC V30 U3 C10 with 170MB/s write speed came out, I determined to buy one. When it came to purchase time these 64GB Cards were amazingly lower priced at around £13.00 so I bought two. When shooting there is absolutely no delay in write speeds and can shoot in burst mode recording upto 30 frames a second.I shoot in Raw and also fine jpeg, so at 30 f/p/s I am recommending one set of Raw AND one set of JPEG, in effect 60 f/p/s with no lag or delay. The Raw shots are approx 16 no some at 18-20 no while the JPEG's compress from 12mp to 8 to 10 MP. As a professional artist retired I used to be a Photoshop user working all over the world. I now use Affinity for both Raw and composition find this platform easy to work within and great value for money at single cost rather than subscription. The SanDisk Extreme Pro 170MB/s will from now on be my choice of memory card and with a range of 4500 quality shots per card is ideal for those trips abroad without sending back to my NAS drive at home every day. 192GB of record s with 13500 stills should be enough for even me.

After having trouble getting Transcend cards with the advertised capacity (many of them seem to be 120 GB/60 GB instead of 128 GB/64 GB despite being sold as such) I just waited for a SanDisk card to go on offer. I was originally going to just get the Extreme, but when the Extreme PRO goes down to a lower price than the former you haven't really got anything to lose!Card arrived promptly. My only gripe with the packaging is that there doesn't appear to be a simple way into the outer cardboard box: perforations would be nice! The inner packaging is excellent and the film peels cleanly off the plastic (made from recycled PET) in one piece.I then checked the capacity: 64 GB (59.4 GiB). Hurray! So far I haven't had any SanDisk cards with incorrect capacity.Benchmarked it in CrystalDiskMark and as you can see in the screenshot it's no slouch. I don't have the SanDisk reader for the 170 MB/s read, but as you can see the write speed is very close to 90 MB/s which is another area where the SanDisk cards pull away from the budget cards.Overall, I wouldn't buy these at full price, but when they're on offer I'm happy to pay £3 more to not have to play the lottery on getting a proper capacity card from the cheaper brand, and the hassle of returning it when that happens (3 out of 4 purchases I had to return). I don't think Transcend's 500S cards suffer from the capacity misrepresentation, but then they cost the same as these so you might as well just buy SanDisk and not worry.

As a professional photographer/videographer, I know how important it is to have fast and reliable storage. When I saw these cards on sale on Amazon Prime Day, I had to snap a couple up, grabbing the 64gb and 128gb at amazingingly low prices.Benefits -Big storage - most modern cameras are shooting well in excess of 20mp images and video absolutely drains storage, in particular if you are shooting 4k! These cards have plenty of capacity to make sure you never run short!Fast!!! - These cards are plenty quick enough for most normal read/write speeds in this class with the added bonus of being able to handle 4k footage - fast write speeds are essential and the Extreme Pro's are amongst the best!Reliable - I have used these cards for years and never once had one fail, this is a particularly good piece of mind when shooting on cameras that only have one card slot!ConsCompetition - Honestly, I really had to scratch my head to think of a downside to mark these cards down and I really can't think of any - the only thing I would say is that I have heard very good things about 'ProGrade' cards, but expect to be paying a lot more for them!Overall - amazingly good cards for the money, hence all the good reviews, you won't go too far wrong with these!Did you find this review useful? I've had two batches of two 32Gb with about 6 months between each purchase. In light of other reviews about speed and fraud, I did test with h2testw and SpeedOut with this last batch I had purchased in the past few days. The read and write speeds did not exceed 24MB/s. I was all ready to return to Amazon, but then decided to test my other cards - which also showed slow speeds and no-where near the 95MB/s suggested by Sandisk. I though that was odd because the earlier batch have been really good fast cards and not slowed my workflow at all.I then read up about testing and established the built-in SD card reader to my laptop and desktop may hinder the speed.I purchased the HAMA USB 3.1 type C card reader, which arrived the following day. Tested the new and old cards, and the speed - both burst and constant, read and write - was in excess of 80MB/s. Not quite that suggested by Sandisk, but what it did demonstrate to me as that testing is all very good but you must ensure that your hardware is not choking your speed.... it's not all just about the cards, but also the bus speed and hardware. So be warned folks - don't think you have a duff card based on one test.

I just got a new camera that can do really fast burst shooting, so I thought I'd better get a memory card that was up to the job. I also wanted one that could deal with high-bitrate 4K video. I got a very good Sandisk UHS-II USB-C card reader at the same time for mega-fast transfer to my Mac.The headline speed is 300Mb/s, but that's read speed; the more important write speed is up to 260Mb/s. Always check the write speed in the blurb because that's the important number. And make sure your camera etc can actually take advantage of these faster UHS-II cards with the double row of connectors. It's as fast as you'd hope. The buffer clears almost instantly after a burst of raw photos, and video files transfer to my Mac amazingly quickly. It's probably faster than I really need, but it future proofs it.The downside is the price. Ideally I would've got the 128GB version but I couldn't justify the price of it. A 64GB card will soon fill up when you take 4K video or a lot of hi-res photo bursts, especially if you shoot raw. I'll just have to save up for another!

This card is amazingly fast at up to 300 mb/sec although it is very expensive, but all the fast ones are, unfortunately. I used it on a Fuji XT3 and I previously had a Class 1 -70 mb/sec card in it and it complained and said "cannot write to media" but it did. It also stuttered and kept saying "storing". With all these mishaps I thought the 2 video clips I recorded would be useless but they survived although the sound disappeared on one. I should point out I was recording 4k which is pretty demanding due to the volume of information gathered and processed. This card is a Class 2 which is recommended for the XT3 and it is way better. If I buy another card for the dual slots it will be £190 on cards so I might buy a medium speed card and use it for stills although it would probably cope with 4k at a quarter of the price. One can but experiment. Nevertheless this is a super card.

Quite possibly the only 5 star review you'll see me write, ever!SanDisk are second only to Lexar in my opinion. SanDisk have and continue to make stunning flash memory products. I've used a combination of Lexar and SanDisk SD cards and neither have failed me. Both read and write speeds are accurate and when shooting in RAW, the only thing to slow me down is my cameras buffer, not the card. One point I would like to make clear, the 95 MB/s rating is for the cards "read" speed, not it's "write" speed. I've seen comments that the write speed is no where near the 95 MB/s claim. SanDisk are not claiming 95 MB/s write, only read.Like all flash memory products, the cost of these cards fluctuate. My advise would be to stock up when the price is sub £14.00. For the money, these cards are a no brainer. They are, as far as I am concerned, the only SD card to buy.

I recently decided to but a Sony FDR-AX700 Handycam, so I can shoot 4K videos to show on out 4K TV, but to do that you need a good quality and fast SD card, and as the Handycam take to card I bought a pair of these purely for that purpose.Yes, you can get slower speed ones that are cheaper that 'might' do the job, but I didn't want to take that chance. Also you can go 'over the top' and buy more expensive ones but why spend unnecessary money when these will do the job perfectly well. After a few shoots I am well impressed with these cards, and I will be buying a couple of these cards in a higher capacity (256GB), so I have 2 in use and 2 as standbys.I have used SanDisk Memory cards and USB sticks over many years and never had one fail..that says it all really !

***PROs***- Realworld and Benchmark performance extremely close to stated speeds (very rare) - Pictures attached- Came with some free recover software via download code- SD Card case included***CONs***- None found as yet***NOTES & CONCLUSION***Purchased to accompany a Canon 1300d DSLR Camera, and frankly the rated speeds are a bit overkill for the task but I like to be able to pull the RAW images off the card onto the PC as fast as possible at the end of a day's shooting. Real world testing averaged roughly 75 to 80 mb/s pulling 100s of 20mb RAW files through a Kingston Mobile Lite G4 USB 3.0 Card Reader. This far surpasses previous cards. No problem recording video at max resolution or burst shooting at max speed for the camera.

Like everyone else, I wanted to test out the maximum recording potential of my Panasonic GH5, and in order for that you really need the kind of specs that this card offers, there's not real two ways to it. Probably not smart to go with a cheaper option, stay safe with a well known brand like sandisk. I've seen these cards on professional shoots, and if Kit company's trust them, then so do I.the price is an unfortunate consequence of high end specs, but if you don't need that maximum recording quality from the camera, a cheaper card will definitely do. I only have one of these which I use for the odd time when I want to record that sweet 10bit ALL-I video. For most other times, I'll use a slower card, and they work fine.

I use Sandisk now excusively since Lexor were bought by a Chinese company and quality dropped significantly. price now for memory is incredibly cheap. I dont think I have ever filled a 64 gb card and have quite a few, but the price now of the 128gb card is so cheap I buy anyway , just in case . Stupid really unless taking 4K video, I'll never use the memory and I take up to 2,000 photos a day if travelling, so would probably use 2 64gb cards instead anyway for safety changing at a suitable time during the day. Ive never had a sandisk card fail but so many photos even with large RAW file sizes can be stored on even the 64 gb card I would play safe. yet I own 3 128 gb cards as well, totally illogical on my part.

I have 4 extreme pro cards in my 2 Nikon's that I use with no problems what so ever. About to photograph a wedding I got it into my head that I should get another even although I knew it would not be needed. I ordered this card and installed it noticing the write speed was double that of the other cards. Compared to my last shoot the number of spoiled photos was miniscule and I can only assume the faster card gave me more scope to capture more info with less buffering. I am going to replace the old 4 cards with this one or save up and buy even faster cards. It's a shame the superfast cards are so expensive but I can now see why.I like San disc and am impressed with this card so will be buying more.

A decently quick class 10 SDXC card yielding 170MB/s in a range that can get up to 300MB/s - at a price. I use this in a Nikon D7200 and so far, in burst mode and in movies, it doesn't seem to be a limiting factor, although the camera itself has well-advertised limits on processing throughput. And that's the important thing. I could buy the fastest card on the planet but it's wasteful to pay for something the camera itself can't make best use of.For a Nikon D7200 with Exspeed 4 processor, this doesn't stop the camera from reaching its advertised burst rates and movies. If your camera is below, at, or equivalent to the D7200 you should be good to go.

This was purchased for its very high USS-1 performance, the ruggedness and reliability is a given from the extream pro as well as other sandisk cards outside of the extreme pro range. I chose this card for its burst write speeds that are higher than other variants and would empty my buffer quickly, however the deciding factor was my need to wire images fast in the field, so the read speed just sold the card . Remember this is a UHS 1 card. Faster UHS 11 cards are available but perform slower than rated in non UHS ii devices. This card is twice the price of a comparable fast card however it will give a slight advantage overall during post production.

Bought this because of good experience of SanDisk brand in our office equipment. Not used it to give a fair review but claimed write speed should be sufficient for Nikon D750 recording video or multiple stills taken with motor drive at full speed. Of the SanDisk branded data storage, there has only been 1 failure with a USB 3.0 thumb drive whereas had perhaps two with Transcent (our 2nd favourite brand). Lexar's tend to be more expensive if you can find the speed and capacity you want. We have not tried Samsung or other major brands. Have used smaller capacities in the desert and offshore so their products have proven themselves.
