This Samsung Original DeX USB-C to HDMI Cable makes using the DeX facility on my Galaxy Note 9 effortless. Works very well with my Samsung S10 without having to buy the more expensive DeX station dock.DeX loads up extremely fast and gives true 1080p quality. Netflix is super fast to use and great quality.My only issue is that my picture is slightly expanded over the screen edges. I've read into it and it's because HDMI cannot be scaled like on a computer monitor. This means some TVs (like mine) may not display the screen properly with no way to adjust it.Samsung DeX doesn't let you adjust it using the software either.I also tried it with a smaller TV upstairs and found that it wasn't as bad but it still was missing a portion of screen.This is probably because my TVs are getting old now and I need an upgrade.I've worked around it for now by using a cheap HDMI to VGA (PC monitor old style)

Original cable always will be original. Works straight out of the box and give option to connect into Dex mode or mirror screen. Both works well.Now about connecting to different screens. Hotels can be tricky. Some have only one HDMI active and you need to connect to all of them and test. Screen size must be adjusted on TV to unscaled. And some TV's does not work at all.Usability. If you don't have laptop or tablet and wish bigger screen then it's great addition to your phone. If you travel a lot and get lucky to have newish TV in your hotel room then you don't need laptop. Replaces laptop for basic needs.

I have a Galaxy Samsung Tab S4 and I've just purchased this lead from Amazon. It's an original Samsung product, arrived lightning-fast (thanks Amazon) and is excellent. I couldn't be happier.I'm yet to buy a keyboard and mouse but nevertheless, I can still use it perfectly in Dex mode linked up to a monitor using the tablet as a touchpad. Quality lead. Highly recommended.

OLD STORY = using with Samsung S5e and get a 2 second audio delay while playing videos. Doesn't matter if in dex mode, mirror mode... same delay. Unwatchable.NEW STORY = I reformatted the device. Wiped everything and works now. Weird. All i had put on in the first place was a few apps. Netflix, spotify, air bnb, i player & amazon prime.

This works perfectly with both my Samsung devices, Note 9 smartphone and S4 tablet. The picture quality is superb when connected to my TV although there is a reduction in volume, but I'm not too bothered by it. Great service and I am pleased that I bought this HDMI adapter - very happy to recommend it.

Connected to old bush tv with Amazon basics extension cable from my samsung tab 4 and chose ' source hdmi ' on television.Automatically connected and works perfect. Samsung's help desk were useless when I contacted them and asked them what cable I should use to do this connection.

Firstly, I thought it was too expensive in comparison to other brands, but after using it, it actually gives you a superior experience, working even when other cables don't (for example, I tested it with my projector for DeX mode and it did work only with this Samsung cable).

it wouldnt replace your pc (yet) but it does a really good job at trying to**if your thinking of getting one maybe get a wireless charger also it needs to be pluged into the phone and your tv at the same time so its gona be sore on the battery

Ordered two but only received one, however seller promptly refunded for the second one, thank you. Great item, well packaged. You cannot go wrong with a Samsung original item. It may cost a little more but its a quality item. Recommended.

I really am impressed by Note 9 with built in DeX. Buy an HDMI female to female adapter, then you can plug into existing cable. I found that easier to 'borrow' a cable from a box under TV than to fumble behind TV for the spare socket.

Works for S10/S10+. Once plugged in you should get a pop up or a notification to enable DeX.Can also works without DeX to mirror the phone's display (but the DeX experience is much better obviously)

What can I say it works seemlessly - Thanks - Now got to get a female HDMI straight connector as the meeting rooms at work have HDMI leads on the table :-)

Very good product. Does what it says on the tin. Makes interface from my Samsung devices seamless. Love it. Would love to have the multi adaptor version.

brought this as a non Samsung version didnt seem to work 100%. This one did what it should need to do so worth extra to ensure it works on samsung s10+
