I’m quite pleased with its versatility and seems pretty solid. Weight is like a ice tool, but seems to work well as a short axe. Time will tell on the durability of the sliding handle. Seems to provide an excellent hybrid straight pick that self arrests well: a rather straight pick (neither technically or reverse curved = neutral).

Its design allows its use in all terrain from simple crossing in glacier to ice climbing, great quality of materials. I was surprised that it includes the elastic dragonera.

Thought for all use. I was surprised that it includes the elastic dragonera. unlike other technical ice axes it is comfortable for self-arrest maneuvers

Does this come with the leash or is it purchased separately? Also, it appears to be slightly different from the ones sold in the US?
