My computer motherboard is too old for a NVMe card, but I got a PCIe adapter card, which allows me to plug the Sabrent Rocket into a spare PCIe slot. If you're searching for the same yourself, make sure you get an adapter with 'M key', since some cards on the market can take M2 cards with the 'B keying' but not NVMe.Anyway, I followed the install instructions to install as a 'secondary drive' and a few reboots later I was able to format the 1TB disk and now have a fast drive 'E:' in my machine that I can use for video rendering. I've seen figures of NVMe being 20 times the speed of a conventional hard disk, but of course not all tasks are simply about read/write speed.

So far I am very pleased with this SSD drive. I haven't installed this drive inside my laptop but instead used an external SSD enclosure that I already had to use this as an external drive for backing up my computer. Although I'm no expert I have found that the writing speed is very impressive. It can reach up to 3200 MB/s read speed and 2000 MB/s write speed. A massive upgrade if you are used to a conventional drive. This SSD drive is only tiny and arrived in a small metal tin protecting it from any possible damage during transit. It is also worth noting that this SSD drive comes with a standard 12-month warranty but if you register on the Sabrent website after purchase you can extend this to 5 years.

This Sabrent 1TB NVMe is well packaged it comes in its own metallic case, has software included that allows you to clone your current hard drive in order to copy to this new drive. It is super fast compared to most Sata SSD's as it runs from the dedicated M.2 slot. Easy to install - no wires/Sata cables. It has a protective cover on both sides of the drive which makes handling better. If you follow my links to my youtube channel I have uploaded a comparison video with a similarly priced NVMe drive see for yourself the speed difference on basic reads and writes. The only disappointment is the 1 year Warranty not so sure why they have put such a short warranty on this when the 2TB version has 5 years,

I do not give 5 stars just because it’s free like some reviewers I give my true opinion on what I think. This is a brilliant internal SSD solid state drive. This thing is tiny for an SSD but it packs a punch with 1TB storage. It come in a very nice little metal tin. I’ve not run any tests because others have already done them on the net if you want to look at that stuff. I can say this is 100 times faster than your standard SATA mechanical drives and a million times faster that the old IDE drives. This will make a great upgrade to your PC if you have the right slot for one and a great thing if your doing a new build.

This m2 PCIe SSD is amazing! Much better then my old 256gb one. At 1tb it's got tones of space... Now time to play games for the rest of the week. :)The only thing think I had an issue with was opening my Dell laptop to put it in... But they is no fault of this.. I needed to find my screw driver... It took me far too long to find it....So to my untrained eyes. It's feels way faster on boot now. It must be because it's super fast. I have been using it for about a week now with no issues. After formating this and putting windows on it I had about 930gb... Of which about 900 was free to use ( The OS takes 30 GB!?).

The packaging is the first thing you notice about this ssd, I certainly did not expect that standard of packaging for an SSD Drive. Sabrent has already got my attention, I would not be surprised if it went downhill from here. It didn't.Not only going the extra mile with the packaging, Sabrent includes a well written documentation booklet to go along with the drive, more points scored.So how will the drive perform? Well it's fast, surprisingly fast(see diskmark scores). Of course there are faster NVMe drives available, but it will be very difficult to find one that matches it's speed at this price.

I'm not the most tech-savvy so installing one of these is not the easiest for me. That's why I've used external SSDs previously which you can just stick in via a USB. They have the advantage that they are portable and are easy to use from the off. They also have the disadvantage that they could get lost.This internal SSD is good too and comes with installation instructions, although these are obviously general as they couldn't cover all computers as they are all different. Once in it gives the PC extra storage which is good. Happy with it.

Easy to install in our computer once we bought a cheap converter to use in conjunction with our motherboard.Performs well, 4 times faster than our other drives and very pleased with the quality. Has had noticeable performance improvement on the computer it was installed in.No issues with installation, packaging or compatibly with our set up. Did the necessary research to known if a converter was needed and ordered one before the disk arrived.

This is the blinding fast astonishingly cheap M2 memory for use in modern PCs.The price these sell at is incredible and the installation reasonably easy (After you look at the YouTube videos)Getting it in is easy, transferring your Boot sector to it less so if you don't own a Windows 10 CD.What I have so far is a blindingly fast games machine that boots fairly slowly. Still, I imagine a solution will present itself in due course.

Definitely delivers the speeds and high-quality performance it promotes. And a really good price, especially when compared to other offers/rivals on the market asking for more. And also, simply considering the fact that it's 1TB.Also surprisingly easy to install and set-up. I gave this to someone and they've been using it in their system for months now - no anomalies or problems. Still runs great and smooth.Highly recommend!

Very very good m.2 very fast speeds .This is my first experience with SSD speeds and it's night and day this is great especially for the price highly recommend , only issue is wish it can't with the screw for motherboard as there not very common screws.

It just works and works well, it's not the most exciting product but my 256gb drive was too small this upgrade 1tb is great, the computer boots and is ready to use in about 20 seconds, a very simple upgrade.

Bought this product but didn't expect anything super amazing, but am I glad that I was wrong. Such an easy device to install and the storage and speed for the price I paid is incredible!

Easy to install, nicely presented box. Speeds are just as advertised (Give or take) and for the size of the drive and it's use, £110 is SUPER cheap!10/10 would recommend to friends!

With such ludicrous speed, I am concerned that AI's living inside my computer will fully calculate the pointlessness of organic life sooner that I'd like. 10/10 speed.
