This is the stick my husband has used for our pure-bred chocolate lab since he was a baby - he's now 1.5 years old. He will retrieve this stick for hours! We have another lab that loves it as well! It floats on the pond as well, so we can toss it for water retrieval. Our only problem is that our dogs will compete against each other to retrieve the stick and when they both get to it, they will grab hold and not let go until it breaks in half! LOL!! So, we continue to order the stick. Another order put in today for the stick....sigh....wish the dogs wouldn't fight over their favorite stick!! Purchasing it here is cheaper than buying it in our local pet store.

The only thing my puppy loves more than retreiving sticks is chewing on them. I worry about how much he ingests so I figured I'd try this. What a great substitute for our little guy! It throws like a stick, he can grab it and hold it like a stick, and he can chew it without me having to worry about him.I knocked it down a star for durability because it's not as tough as the red Kong rubber but it's held up very well.

My springer collie loves his new "stick". I had to get him something because he has a tendency to find and chew up sticks from the garden and then throw them up after about 20 minutes. This toy is very durable so much so that he gets a good chew out of it but without tearing it up or damaging it. Very happy with the purchase

Our seven month old puppy is a power chewer but has not destroyed this. We’ve gone through so many toys that she killed within minutes. She’s still teething and is happy to chew on this on the couch.I think it’s too heavy for her to carry in her mouth for long so we don’t play fetch with it. Maybe when she’s older.

I have 2 young male Frenchtons that love to play tug-of-war and this toy doesn’t disappoint. It’s medium size so they can easily tote it around and it’s long enough they can each grab an end for play time. I especially like the durability and that it’s lasted more than a few days already.

This thing is very durable and it floats, our puppy can knaw on this all day with no issue. There's no chunks missing or anything so far. I also love how it floats kind of cockeyed so it sticks out of the water which makes it easy to see and retrieve. Much safer than a real stick.

Our dog usually rips apart toys in less than 5 mins and has the stuffing and squeaker out! He tried to steal this away from our cousins dog at Thanksgiving so we got him one for Christmas. He loves it and its still in one piece after several hours. Hope it continues now for days!!

I bought this 4 months ago, and our pitbull loves it and cannot destroy it. He never gets tired of it!As someone else mentioned, it very much resembles a dildo. So, be prepared to explain if it's out when company arrives or you post an unclear photo on social media.

We take this on our boat in the lake and our dog absolutely loves it! We play fetch with it in the water. I ordered the sockeye red color (which I think is actually more orange than red) and it’s very visible in the water. It floats very well. 100% recommend.

It's a bit big for my Miniature Schnoodle but he LOVES it. The bigger the better in his mind, obviously a boy thing. It's also heavy, so its not something you can carelessly throw around your house, but again my dog loves the size and weight of this thing.

My dogs tend to destroy normal toys. They haven't destroyed the Gnawt-a-Stick, and the one who play fetch loves playing fetch with it. It is also good for playing tug. It is easy to wash and just the right weight and stiffness for larger working breeds.

My stick chaser loves this, balls don't cut it for her! I've had the yellow before, but the blue is much better when you have to search for it!Really sturdy too, my 2 doberman play tug with this and there's no sign of wear and tear after 3 months!

Great toy, my dog loved it. A great toy to use for fetch and tug of war. Just don't let your dog take it with them and chew on it. My dog started chewing on one end and it started breaking apart and now she has eaten about half of the toy.

I use this for my German Shepherd as a toy outside to play fetch he loves it. This is not one of his toys that I let him lay and chew on so it is perfect for that it has enough weight to it to be able to throw it far and he enjoys it.

My German Shepherd absolutely LOVES this stick. We can play fetch or tug of war in the yard with it, or if we go to the lake, we can throw it in the water. It's extremely durable and easy to see on land or water, and my dog loves it!
