Fantastic. Lightweight, for my smallish 8kg Fox Terrier. Very versatile to use. A great length. I wasn't sure how comfortable to hold it would be, with the adjustable handle. It is certainly the most comfortable lead handle I have used to date. The ultra lightweight helps. The clasp that joins your dogs collar or harness was an initial concern the first time i saw it. This was unfounded. It is lighter than a standard clasp, despite its look. It is easy to use, easier than a standard fixing. Secure too. The adjustable handle is great. I use it to secure my dog in the car, sometimes on a tree or bench if we stop for a rest. I have also used it as advertised, to secure around my waist.

This is the 3rd ruffwear lead that I have had and they have all been good purchases,The last lead was the only one that let me down, the rivet on the steel/alloy harness clip wore out the lead it self was perfect faded yes but solid I think I had that one for 8 years perhaps more anyway this is lighter overall, the lead seem just as solid although the material is differentI am always happy to recommend Ruffwear, they are the best lit when it comes to dog walking in my opinionThey are more expensive than some but they are quality, long last and the waist clip function is handy when you are attending to his business leaving your two hands freeYou get what you pay for .......

This is a really good lead, I bought it specially for a cockapoo for 2 reasons, she pulls when on a lead so this one helps to absorb some of that energy, but also as she is much smaller than our other dog, I found standard length leads were a bit short and gave me backache as I was constantly leaning over. The only reason I haven’t given this 5 stars across the board is that after over 2 years of regular use, some of the elastic in the lead has been overstretched because of my cockapoos pulling, especially when I use the lead hands free. Having said that it’s still a very strong lead. The clip is extremely secure but I find it really difficult to fasten with just one hand.

These leads are very good. We have two Golden Retrievers and the leads are easy to attach quickly, long enough to give them some freedom and also with a loop for holding them really close. They have changed the clip mechanism at the handle end back to an older clip which is much easier to open and close than a recent model. Great for threading through railings while you pop into the shop. They also come in different colours …. makes it easier to quickly know which dog is which …. and I think they get used to their very own lead too!!!! This one is black.

We got this leash after our dogs regular collar snapped and broke on the way to the beach and he almost ran away. This leash is supposed to be used for around your waist if you are running with your dog. But we like it as a safety backup. The hand held portion can be used as a collar incase his collar breaks again. Seriously a must have for any dog owner.

One of the best things I've ever bought for my dog!! I absolutely love taking her on a walk or run and not having to touch the leash AT ALL! My hands stay free to feed her treats while we do loose-leash training or even use my phone while we walk. It's absolutely brilliant. The quality is excellent, the clasp is easy to use, and the color is adorable.

I walk three big dogs at a time and this leash is very strong and adequate for it's purpose. With three dogs, I use the leash to wrap 1 around my waist and that makes my life so much easier! The clap for the collar is great, easy on, easy off. I have washed them once and they came back to bright and beautiful. Worth the cost

We love this Ruffwear leash. It’s not only cute but practical! Our favorite feature is that it is multi-use in that we can change the handle size to either go around a tree, around our waists, or just use it as a normal leash handle size. We have no complaints.

This leash is well constructed, and comfortable to use. The only warning is the metal clip for the dog is very large (but very light weight). It is a little large for my dog (15lbs), but doesn't detract from the other useful features of the leash.

Sturdy leash attachment. Great length for walking or running with the dog when worn around the waist and the traffic handle is a nice feature. Usually use a 4 foot leash and this is a little longer than that but not as long as the 6ft leashes.

Such a good lead brilliant easy to use !!I just can’t use the flexi leads and more and wanted a good long lead as a dog sitter /Walker I’m always have one -five dogs so being flat it doesn’t take up hand space or tangles up with others !!

Good running lead. Would like some ‘shock absorber’ give. I like the handle close to the dog for added control at road junctions - collie thinks he always knows the way! Been using for 4 months now and still going strong!

This is our second flat out leash. The previous one held up fine for 8 years and we wanted a new color. The material is a little thinner than our previous one, but seems more durable for the occasional horsing around.

I've enjoyed this brand and the quick release on the handle. Makes locking the dogs up for a second really convenient. I used this to replace another leash I had that was starting to wear from a lot of use.

I like the overall flexibility of this leash. Your companion can be out at the end, or up close to you because of the extra loop near the hook end. A lot of thought went into the product. Thanks, Ruffwear!
