I have a 15 pound Havanese and I ordered an extra small jacket that fits perfectly. The jacket sheds rain and snow while walking on stormy days. His stomach does still get wet when we play in the snow because the underside is not water resistant. The underside of the jacket is a stretch fleece which helps with a great fit. I really like the zipper long one side allowing it to be placed on or off the dog without having to go over the dogs head. The jacket is warm without being overly thick which makes it ideal for an active dog. Overall this dog jacket resists rain and wind and has a great fit without being too bulky or impeding movement for active dogs.

I bought my first Cloud Chaser 3+ years ago for my larger dog to hike with me. It's been excellent keeping mud and rain off her belly on our rainy Northwest hikes. I recently ordered one for my dachshund and it too, is a perfect fit. It covers his back and belly and the sleeves don't catch up in his short legs. Nice to finally find something that helps keep dirt/water/ debris off his belly! Dachshunds are a challenge to find functional clothing for! The company measurements are spot on, so if you've been looking for something to keep your pups dry, clean and warm, get this! Totally worth the price.

Sizing is a bit tricky. We had XXS and it fit perfectly till our JRT puppy hit 7 month old. Then the neck and chest became too tight. We ordered the next size - XS. This one is ok for the neck but too wide around the waist and a tiny bit too long. While I do believe he is still growing (not as fast as before though), I don’t think it will ever fit well. Unless we start feeding him twice the amount so he ends up looking like a sausage ;)But overall it is a very good jacket especially for scottish weather

Excellent coat, have purchased them for years now for my spaniel. Keeps him dry and his undercarriage clean from the mud.Easy to care for, just wash in Nikwax Tech wash to re waterproof it, especially if your like mine . Bit expensive, but I usually by in sale. Well worth the money. Even has a tag for a light in the dark mornings and reflective bands down the side. I bought the medium, excellent fit. FabThis coat is excellent, continue to buy, hard wearing and keeps my spaniel clean and dry.

This is a replacement coat for our very active Pointer, as he has outgrown the large. A bit roomy around the neck but we like how it fits his deep chest and keeps his belly and armpits dry and cosy. This is one of the few coats on the market which fit a pointer shape reasonably well and doesn't move out of place whilst running around. Fortunately our other smaller Pointer can wear the old one as it's still going strong and not worn out at all!

I know people think this coat is expensive but we are paying for waterproof breathable, put a bin liner over yourself and you will keep rain out, but you’ll be just as wet from sweat, I have 3 off these coats for my current dog Ted, and had them for my 2 previous dogs Staffies, so I know them to be robust, people stated the underside is not waterproof, well it’s not but the water comes from the top and that is waterproof.

This is the second lot of these coats we have purchased. The price was some £20 less with Amazon which is amazing. Medium fits our three working cocker spaniel well. The larger of the three it is neat but fits well. These coats are fantastic in the rain as it keeps their backs dry and their under carriage is covered but the material is not waterproof so gets wet but a bonus been covered. We are delighted with these coats.

I haven’t had any of the rubbing issues that others have had. This is such a sleek / thin item that you have to be careful on sizing. If you are in the middle order up two sixes and send one back that doesn’t work. It fits like a sleek swimsuit bike racing outfit. It’s the best item to put under the webmaster harness. No better quality construction. It’s a bit of s pain to get on if your dog is fussy.

Very nice!! Fits well and besides getting him.in it he doesn't seem to mind it at all! Not to warm because I've left it on and he was able to take a nap in it and it seems warm enough because he didn't shake as much.I will say I'm not a fan of the zipper and would probably like a Velcro closure more, but then again I don't think it would be as secure!I would recommend this coat!

Nice materials and finish, light and breathable, but it's supposed to be a colder weather item which it falls a little short on. The built in loop for Ruffwear Beacon thoughtless placed. If your dog pulls it will pop it off the loop, although I'm not sure if it is more of a design flaw of the Jacket or the Beacon light.A quality item but a bit pricey for what it is.

We purchased a small size for our Cocker Spaniel ‘Daisy’ initially thought it might be too small but fits her comfortably, she measures approximately 47cms (18.5 inches) from neck to her back, not a cheap Jacket, (actually dearer than a couple of my jackets) however, quality materials and well made which I’m sure will last her for several wet and chilly seasons.

Very nice sleek jacket. I got the lighter version mainly as a water repellent. The only downside is theres no opening in the back, so I need to put the harness on the outside. I have a small low rider, so ice and snow still gets in the harness, defeating the objective of the tight sleeves and back zipper.

Fits my golden retriever perfectly! She didn't like wearing it at first but now loves it. Keeps her dry in the rain and snow and keeps snowballs from collecting in her armpits. We took a ride to the beach recently and put it on her to keep the sand and salt water spray out of her fur. Worked great!

My little 9 lb Havapoo is exactly 12" around her chest (that's measured LOOSELY with a cloth tape) so I ordered the XXS. I tried to put it on her today and came nowhere NEAR being able to zip it up. It seems like a great coat so I'm returning it and ordering the next size up. Hope it works.

Great jacket. Snug, but not to snug. It is like a performance sweater for dogs. Zipping can be tricky at first, but gets easier after a few tries. Didn’t get to really test the water proof-ness against rain, but it shed the snowfall without any issue. I would recommend this jacket.
