I chose this Moana outfit because it is a one piece dress rather than a separate skirt and top making it easier for my grandchild to put on by herself.The quality is good and what I have come to expect from Rubie's but I do think a little more detail would have made it more authentic.For example it would be nice to have a proper fringe round the bottom of the skirt and a separate necklace rather than a printed one.I bought the Rubie's Moana wig separately to go with the outfit and that has been a huge success.Size wise it is about right for an average 5-6 year old. A size 4-5 years would be a good addition to the size options rather than jumping from 3-4 yrs up to 5-6yrs.

As other reviewers have mentioned this is thin... but lets face it, costumes are available for other disney properties (Frozen, I'm looking at you...) that cost 3x as much as this. Admittedly these expensive costumes are heavy duty with layers of fabric and are clearly designed to last. However, with a child growing quickly and one who wants to jump in and out of Moana's boat (i.e. the washing basket) this is more than adequate and has already given numerous afternoons of enjoyment. Will it last forever? No. Does that matter? No.

My daughter wore it today. It is a great fit for a child wearing 7 to 8. My daughter is tall and on the skinny side, so the dress sits long on her but still looks really good. It was a bonus, in our case, that it was and one piece dress as she was more comfortable and it was easier to wear tights and polo neck underneath.The quality seems pretty decent. The necklace is printed on, again another bonus for the school party.

So delightful! I think it's polyester and it's a printed pattern, printed "wrapped material" and printed necklace, but it is so pretty! It's very feminine. I love the detail of the clear netting on the top part of the top, which is almost invisible and has the necklace printed it on. I usually make my own dressing up outfits for the children, but my daughter fell in love with the look of this and I am very pleased with it.

I bought the 3/4 size as smaller size out of stock and so glad I did because it fits my 2 and half year old daughter perfectly - with leggings and a thin top underneath (she is approx 90cm tall). She absolutely loves the dress & has literally worn it 4 days in a row! Quality seems good for the price & it really does look great. Highly recommend to any little moana fans!

Having a Moana mad nearly 2 year old. I purchased this for her second birthday. Having read the reviews i got a 3-4yrs. It massive. My daughter is tall for her age, this comes to her ankles! She has plenty of room in this so will last for awhile. Very thin materal. Truthfully i was expecting more from a official disney product. But my daughter will love it.

Necklace is printed on material which isn’t stated in description but luckily brought a separate necklace just in case. Lovely product. My daughter wanted to be Moana for school but most other costumes are 2 piece and wasn’t happy with her having her belly hanging out so this is perfect and at a good price!

Nice little costume for my 3 year old daughter. It had no fiddly or scratchy bits and looked comfortable to wear. The necklace detail on her collarbone came off (the pendant remained) during the day but it’s nothing to worry about. We had the toy pendant to cover it (as shown in photo).

lovely, Although still a bit expensive for what it is, but I'm sure my granddaughter will love it which is all that matters. This item arrived well within the time stated, which was great. Very impressed with this company and its service. Thank you

It's not the real costume the design is printed on the material but for me it was perfect and comfortable for my 3 year old. For my 6 year old I got the real skirt and top costume. I would recommend it for a 4 years old and younger.

The sizing was spot on and lovely quality. My daughter gets in a mess so it is washed everytime age wears it. The necklace transfer came off in the wash but she has the necklace so i didn't mind as it enables to keep it clean

Just received this dress. I think it's ok, deffo should lower the price though as it's nothing fancy and it's basically a printing on a dress. My daughter will love this though as she wanted to dress up as moana for school.

Arrived very quickly after ordering. Can't comment on the sizing as it's been put away for Christmas. Comfortable and modest unlike some other Moana costumes, perfect as I know my daughter wouldn't want her belly out.

Great fit for my small six year old. I bought 5-6. The material is lovely and comfortable. Very different to many other costumes she has. She wears it a lot and I've already washed it a few times and it's all good.

I purchased this for my granddaughter as she loves Moana. She absolutely loves it. However, she wanted to be the same colour as moana and as a result she came downstairs with her face covered in my face powder.
