After reading a few product reviews on this product which were very helpful I decided to buy this item with no expectation so I would not be disappointed. Item arrived in speedy time and packaged ok.The item itself is as everyone has already said wayyyyyy too big for 5-7 year olds more like 8-10 year olds, I am guessing from the size heigh would be just over 4.5ft.( obviously depends on your child). An accurate size and measurement of the actual item would be more helpful than the sizing guide. My son is a big 5 year old, looks more 6 than just turned 5. It is for xmas so can't even try it on him but can see I will be rolling up the legs about 6 inches and arms about 4 inches.

I ordered this costume for my son's 5th birthday. He is tall for his age and wears age 6-7 clothes however this came up VERY big! I have to tuck the legs into his socks and the sleeves need to be rolled up several times.However it seems good quality and very comfortable - it does not restrict his light-sabering skills at all as the material is stretchy. He wears it a lot and so far I cannot fault the quality of the costume. The only slight issue is the mask which unlike the rest of the costume has rather short elastic and so therefore is very tight on his face -it leaves marks on his nose if he wears it for more than 5 minutes. This has been easily remedied with another bit of elastic which I have sewn on.

Ordered this for Halloween, but never expected to actually getting it on time. But it was delivered the next day! Thank you to the seller for making a very very happy 5 year old!The size says 5-7. My son has just turned 5 and he's tall for his age (91 centile). The costume is definitely big for him. Mainly the legs. This is defo not the starting size of a 5 year old but I will just roll up the legs.Never mind, the rest is fine and it doesn't look too big. It will last him a while anyway.The quality is good, the detail is nice, it comes with the costume, belt, cape and mask. The mask looks very good, shiny plastic, looks the part. Bear in mind it's a mask not a helmet.Really good product and super fast delivery.

I bought the MEDIUM size age 5 - 7 for my 5yr old grandson, who is above average height for his age. As this is designed and made primarily for the U.S.A and I have found that other items sized for the U.S.A. market are smaller than the U.K sizing, I thought that this would fit him with a small amount of growing room. I was very wrong in that assumption. I am 5ft 6in tall and this outfit would fit me height wise!! The mask also fits an adult head so is a little big for a 5yr old. However that is the only criticism I have. The fabric, design, attention to detail etc are all excellent. Costume consists of mask, cape (packaged in with the mask) and the suit. Light saber is NOT included.

Bought for my son's 5th birthday. Ordered age 3-4 as the star wars costumes come big (from previous experience). He is an average sized 5 year old and it fit well with a little growing room in the leg. Comes with mask, cape, jumpsuit and belt. Very thin material but does the job, authentic looking and easy to get on (needs help to tie belt at back) and to get it off to go to the loo! He was chuffed and can now 'force choke' his brother (who has the Captain Rex Storm Trooper costume). Great play value for another Star Wars obsessed little lad! Recommended. Already has the red light sabre. Would suggest that this is bought in addition if necessary.

For weeks our three years old grandson had been telling us that all he wanted for his fourth birthday was a Darth Vader Outfit. So what were we to do? Cost slightly less than we expected - so good value. Sizing - lots of growth room. Four weeks on it is still being worn on a daily basis. Freddie's verdict - My Best Present Ever.

My grandchild, Troy, in Norway was delighted with this present.Unfortunately I could not see his expression but he told me on the phone.He already looks forward to the next costume event in his pre-school.His parents liked the present too.I can recommend it to any boy who likes to dress up at parties or other events.

My 5 year old loves this outfit. Despite being size 3-4 this is on the big size so he will get plenty of play out of it, including his 7 year old brother! the helmet is just a mask but it is good quality and not flimsy at all. Plus I think having the mask is much better than having a full helmet. I would recommend this.

This is a good little outfit for a budding Darth Vader! I got the small size for my 6 year old on his birthday, as I'd read previous reviews which said they come up REALLY big, and it fits perfectly - do definitely think about sizing down! The mask is a bit useless at staying on but the rest of the outfit is great!

Ordered this for my son who is 8, recieved the item within 2 days, The costume was excellent for the price the only down size is it was huge, it actually fit my eldest who is 16, judging by the size I should have ordered age 3-4 and it probably would have fit perfect, good job Im handy with a needle and thread :)

Prompt delivery...Well Packaged....We bought this for a five year olds Birthday , so found the sizing a little on the generous side. Labelled as 5--7 Yrs, that seems fair enough. The Mask was fairly sturdy, and the rest of the costume seemed of reasonable durability, given the price. Over all a fair purchase.

My five year old wanted to dress up as Darth Vader for world book day at school. I ordered this late Thursday afternoon and it was delivered to my door at 8am on Saturday morning. The outfit was of good quality and i ordered a size 3-4 yrs as my son is short for his age. He loves it!! Would buy another one.

Purchased this for my 6 yr old son as we were attending a sci fi convention. He's quite big (8 yr old clothes size) and the outfit was spot on. One thing I would recommend is that you buy a black hat/balaclava as the helmet is just the front piece of the mask. Otherwise the outfit wore well and he loved it.

Just the job ,we. Bought this for our 5yr old grandson every thing you see in the picture except the light sabre is in the pack it looks great on him he got a light sabre as a seperate present and we have our. Very own Darth Vader !!! So this costume is bob on 5stars for the fit and the quality !!!!

Bought as a gift. My son's made up. The cape & trouser legs are quite long. Aged 8-10yrs. My son's a tall 8yr old so I would say the outfit is more on the 10yrs side. It is quite thin and could do with abit more velco on the back but the cape covers the issue. Other than that really great outfit.
