We tried everything with our german shepherd. With his skin allergies we always ended up back to royal canin. We tried the german shepherd one - he turned his nose up, hated the stuff. We finally settled on the navy blue pack but although he ate it when told to "eat" he wasn't fussed. We were also going through a 15 kg pack in just under a month and he was just getting hungrier. Standing in our local Acorn scratching our heads we spotted this giant pack. I mean we're pleased he got bigger and bigger on royal canine but when we looked at him we realised this huge long haired german shepherd at age 2 could easily be classed as giant.

I have a Caucasian Shepherd, and as with many large breed dogs, you have to give them a good diet which includes help for their joints. I got this and he loves it. It is big chunks of kibble which is great for the size of his mouth and teeth! The only negative is the price. But in the grand scheme of things, dogs don't live long enough (in my opinion), and when he gets old and that dreaded day comes, which all dog lovers dread. I can look back and think, "He got the best, I did the best I could for him." And in the end, that's what matters, just to give your best mate the best.

If you have a deep chested dog, such as a Great Dane, this is the best stuff on the market to feed them to help prevent the dreaded bloat, if you have never had a dog that has suffered bloat, I hope you never do, it is the most distressing illness a dog can suffer, and the survival rate is not good, Royal Canin has reduced the effects of bloat in GD's considerably, will never change from this brand.

Its the best dog food you can get, also at a good price, and the team was helpful and carring, Like as before I will getting another pyrenean mountain dog puppy back end of the year, so I know what I am buying and where!

we would recommend this product, and are very satisfied with its prompt delivery. Our 13 mths old giant schnauzer has been on this for a while now and enjoy's it, while it is good for his growth requirements as well.

Have been buy this brand since my pet was a puppy, He's now 7 years old, and having tried other makes this is his 1st choice. Large kibble size means he only eats one piece at a time, therefore less indigestion.

This is a brilliant product but is very expensive. Saw this on offer so I decided to buy. It's got 3kg more than RC's specialist Great Dane food and the Kibbles are almost as large. A good alternative.

Large size of food nuggets makes the dog chew, and should help to avoid DGV ("Bloat"). My dog enjoys her food, and her head doesn't leave the owl till it's licked clean!

This is a very good quality food for a very good price. Unfortunately I have a fussy eater and stop buying it. My boy is now fed raw and he is not fussy anymore..

Excellent quality,well delivered. Would recommend this top quality no 1 dog food,price is the cheapest by far. Dog refuses to eat any other.A++++++

Our dog loves it. She is quite a fussy character but eats this food no problem at all so we know what to purchase next time.

Even though this food is ruddy expensive my wolf hounds don't produce so much waste , a very goog thing with two of them .
