I wanted a small spare set of tools to keep in the kitchen as I am always having to be mend something. The fact that before I got this I always had to get the big toolkit out meant that I didn't bother and things that needed fixing were either put in a drawer and forgotten about or worse I just used things to hand to try to fix them .... ouch slipping scissors anyone! A lot in a very small package.Although I would not say these were suitable for "heavy" DIY they will cope with most casual uses. The box folds up into a small size suitable to go into a kitchen drawer etc to be readily available.The tools particularly the pliers and cutters are a bit on the small size, but are spring opening which I like.There is not a normal screwdriver as such but a handle that takes a variety of screwdriver bits and sockets. There are also 6 precision screwdrivers suitable for tightening spectacles etc.Not obvious from the picture is a pair of tweezers,these are very useful and the points actually meet.

I ordered this as an Add-on item from Amazon. The colour it came in is red, as opposed to the blue colour from the picture. It also appears to be a fake version of the official Rolson set. It was gritty and dirty looking out of the box.All that aside it is a decent set. The case is decent and folds into a nice small storage box, the tools seem like they do the job they're supposed to. Other than the quality out of the box they'd be a 5 star product. Hopefully they last a while and don't damage easily.

Tool kit for not much money... yes please.... brought it for general light works... opening PC cases, fixing consoles, light electronic stuff... its good, the case closes well and doesnt pop open if carried around in a bag, but i`d put an elastic band around it after a few months, as i dont think the catch would take much abuse. On the whole. a very useful and cheap tool set to own... no excuse, i`d buy one again.

I wanted a cheap toolkit that had some of the essential tools for a home; such as a screw driver, pliers, etc. This fits the bill perfectly and cost peanuts. Build quality is definitely low, but still does the job and after a few weeks of use no items are showing degradation. Don't expect to be doing up tight screws with the smaller screwdrivers though - they provide very little to grip to apply torque.

Bought same product from Lidls many years ago. It has been extremely useful over the years and has been sufficient for 90% of little jobs round house. Replaced due to bits lost from original. This appears to be of same quality and for just over £5 delivered, you can't go wrong. The only thing I can fault it on is the size of the handle on the screwdriver. Could be chunkier for better grip.

Handy little tool set for people who haven't got many tools. The case is solid and is small enough to tuck away in drawer. Only problem is the socket set do not have the right shape hole to attach to the handle so they can not be used. In my case I didn't need them so it didn't matter. The rest of the tools are decent and the price is right.

Bought to do the odd little job at home - particularly at Christmas - to avoid bringing out the full toolkit. Great for unscrewing battery compartments, changing plugs etc. Wouldn't want it to be my only toolset but it is fine for what I bought it for. Might buy one to keep in my desk drawer at work.

I have one of these myself (a mature woman) and I often buy them as gifts for young women because everyone should have access to a few basic tools and so often (even in the 21st century) it is the men who have tool-boxes. Independent women need them too - and this is small but has the essentials.

The mini tool kit is as advertised: A mini box of tools.What you don't see is that the box it comes in is in fact a slightly soft plastic mold. It's a bit flimsy to close, and at times can be difficult to get tools in and out of.However, at the price, this is a minor gripe.

It's a must for a science technician in a school. Has all you really need for basic repairs. Bought this for our trainee tech for her first christmas present. hopefully it'll stay with her through her career! In a very robust case.

A very handy little tool kit, that I wanted mainly for the small screw drivers, but have used the other items, though the pliers are a little on the small size.Handy enough for occasional use.Tom Crossley

Its a basic kit of tools. You get what you pay for. By no means the best but functional for the odd job that requires a tool of this nature.Suited if you wish to have a small toolkit for those little jobs.

Needed a good mix of smaller tools and this fits the bill completely, perfect for household, and in my case I use it very successfully for my hobby jewellery making, very well priced and would recommend
