2010: I've now bought 3 of these - 2 for my children (3-4 and 6-7 years old - who are easy to pull along on the metal runners) and one as a present...they have served us well over 2 snowy winters and are robust and durable - we've reused them time and time again (they sit in the attic for the rest of the year) - like the previous review they are the source of serious "sledge envy" on the slope and we've been asked many times where we got them....took my (Dad's) weight at speed on some of the steeper slopes sitting and lying down face first...purely to test them of course! Made by Rolly Toys in Germany. Worth the extra if you want someting to use over and over again.

Excellent sledge, might seem a bit pricey but it stands up to everything you can throw at it, it even took my 15 1/2 stone weight with ease (I needed to test it before the kids!)Loads of people with other cheap sledges asked about these sledges, the cheap ones tend to crack and will only last a week before giving out especially if they hit a bump, these ones took every knock with ease. They are also very fast!Highly recommended, quality sledges

Used by child to sleigh on farm every year for at least 10 years including towing child up hill behind quad, sleighing home down hill from pony club by moonlight. Have also used them to haul bags of food out to sheep when snow too deep for quad. They are threw behind the hen house when snow goes away and brought out again next year. Great piece of kit.

Ordered this so next time we're snowed in we'll be prepared! It looks great (grew up in the country where everyone drives around in a John Deere tractor), very durable would easily take an adults weight, delivery was very speedy and it's a very good price. Would throughly recommend this over the more traditional wooden sledges.

This was a gift for grandchildren aged 7 and 9. It looks robust and sleek and the kids loved the look of it. They can both sit on it comfortably. Of course, we have not yet had any snow to give it a test run, but on appearance it looks great.

Bought this sledge last year 2011, Can not fault it, kids love it,well made and lots of fun. Have just bought one in blue.Now can have twice the fun,just need some snow.

Bought two of these for the grandchildren for Christmas.They are very strong and look great. .UNFORTUNATELY we didn't have any snow this year. So watch this space!

We decided to pay more than normal for this sledge and it was worth it. It is more substantial and faster than cheaper ones and hopefully will last for years.

This Sled promises years of fun!.Very quick delivery, great quality.Maybe a little small for me (Dad), but the kids (early teens) love it!

This sledge is absolutely top class. So tough and amazing to look at - the envy of the park! Many parents enquired about it! A real hit.

solid strong construction. 100kg max load too! Grass-green colour makes a change from the usual garish blue pink & red.

We love this sledge. Its very strong, easy to ride, fast. Infact just great fun. We just need some more snow!!!

very well built sledge, able to take 2 pre teenage boys. Bought after researching . Just waiting for the snow.

Looks good, feels sturdy- just need some snow! The tow rope doesn’t feel all that but time will tell!
