A solid, well manufactured tractor which requires assembly. There are a few reviews which claim that this is challenging, however with minimal DIY skills this shouldn't be a problem. Notably the tractor is rear wheel drive (one wheel only) which is fine and I remember having a toy tractor when I was young (many years ago) which was exactly the same. It is chain driven (one rear wheel only) and the pedals can be adjusted to suit your little one's leg length. There are markings on the pedal housing which allow you to adjust the distance of the pedals (back and forwards by rotating the pedal housing). I had to play around with this a little bit as major adjustment causes the chain to become slack and it pops off it's cog, however with a bit of tinkering I managed to successfully adjust this and my 2 year old loves it.No horn which is a little disappointing and the engine (under the bonnet which lifts is non existent, as others have mentioned)The turning circle is particularly poor so turning is a bit like an oil tanker, but my little boy gets around that by simply putting his feet down and shuffling in the direction he wants to travel. All in all good, but 4 stars for the reasons outlined above. Hope that this is helpful.

This is a great tractor, we bought for our daughters 3rd birthday! The tractor seems really durable and good quality, we bought it when it was on offer so got a great deal.BUT - beware of the instructions or lack of - read every page before you start, now that may sound obvious but most instruction manuals make you work through a series of steps, this doesnt, just a few pages one for the tractor and one for the trailer.Read them both first and sort out your bits, we put the wheels on then realised a part hadnt been labelled properly and we needed the bit we had just put on for the other wheels as the rod was slightly different lengths. This sounds a simple mistake but these wheels are meant togo on and NEVER come off so that was a major challenge in itself as they really ARENT made to come off!! So there were a few choice words and stroppy moments but we completed the job and managed to get it wrapped ready for the birthday girl in the morning.Apart from that my little girl loves this tractor and takes her dollies for rides in the trailer.

This was a birthday present for our two year old grandson and it was an instant success! Grandad had no problems putting it together following the clear instructions and was impressed by the solid construction and robust materials (he's an engineer so is in to all that mechanical stuff). The two year old is a little too young to understand how to peddle the tractor, but he will quickly learn. The peddles are adjustable for leg length, but this is not included in the instruction leaflet. In the meantime, he can easily move the tractor by putting his feet on the ground. The most exciting part of the kit was the pin that secures the trailer to the tractor which became a toy on it's own!The bonnet comes off and fiddling with the 'engine' is another serious occupation. We would have liked to see some moulded details or decals to put under the bonnet to make the engine bay more interesting. However, overall this is a great toy that will last many years.

What a great tractor this is. My 20mth old boy's eyes lit up when he saw it. He's not able to do the pedals yet, but is more than happy just to sit on it, then get off, then get on ...... He likes nothing more than to watch his tractor DVD whilst sat on his very own tractor, pretending to drive it. I can see we'll get a lot of use out of it. "Fairly" easy to assembly. Made a boob with the metal rods for the wheels though. Hadn't realised they were two different lengths and used the wrong one for the front of the tractor wheels. Didn't realise my mistake until after I'd hammered the wheel nut on (which I could not get off, despite my best efforts) Hubby to the rescue though and managed to hammer it off using some contraption he invented!!Luckily there's a spare nut in the pack. TIP - don't try to assemble when you have company and trying to hold a conversation - you need all your concentration making sure you don't make a mistake !!

This gift for our Grandson's 2nd birthday last week was a great success. We had thought it was going to be too large for him but as the pedals are adjustable this is not a problem. The tractor is very well made and sturdy enough for him to climb all over it and pull his Sister along in the trailer. Our only wish would be that the pedals would have turned both rear wheels but he is strong enough to manage. We were going to buy the smaller one with only 3 wheels but decided it may have tipped on cornering. Our personal tip is to buy some satin varnish to paint over transfers as they would peel off with wear.

Looks good and my 2 year old grandson loved it on sight. However the first thing he looked for was the horn, there isn't one, which seems strange for a childrens toy. Also, the photo on the box shows a collar/covering around the steering wheel between the actual steering wheel and the body but this was not included nor was it mentioned in the instructions. This might seem petty but it just looks unfinished.I emailed the company to ask about buying a horn, as my grandson is riding around shouting beep beep but the website is very basic and as yet I have not received a reply.

The end product was quite satisfactory, however, we were surprised at how much self-assembly was needed! We spent considerable time (and effort) securing the wheels, fixing the steering and sticking on all of the features, such as 'lights,' 'dashboard,' etc. Not quite sure how sturdy it is but we shall see. It would have been good if there had been an 'engine' painted under the bonnet. All that apart, our two-year old grandsons seemed very happy with it and the little trailer is an important extra that adds to the overall experience.

My two year old was in heaven when we gave this to him. Obviously very realistic being a John Deere - more so thanks to the bodywork stickers that come with it. Good quality and a bonnet that opens which again thrilled my son. Only thing I would say is it would have been nice if they provided a sticker to look like an engine to go under the bonnet as currently when you open it there is nothing there to discover. Otherwise a super toy that I think will maintain interest for a long time to come.

Extremely sturdy and fabulous quality-I know my Grandson will have endless hours of enjoyment this Christmas and beyond. The wheels were a little fiddly but it only took about an hour to build so don’t be put off by previous reviews. A winner and all-round great purchase which will also teach him how to pedal. I love it and so will he especially the trailer which no doubt will be filled with all sorts from the garden and why not!

Best ride on tractor, we bought this after our cheaper one broke. It is well worth the money. It is really well built and has lasted a fair bit of bashing by our toddler already. We bought it for his 2nd birthday, initially he found it difficult to reach the pedals (and he is tall for his age) but has grown into it well. Putting it together took us some time, but it was definately worth it.

Arrived the next day as promised but the package was delivered open, wet and dusty. The tractor is fine but the trailer has a snapped / broken part which makes it impossible to install the wheels. Possibly because of how it was handled during delivery? Trying to contact the seller but struggling to find any contact details ? Otherwise a really nice tractor for our almost 3 year old son.

This is a great tractor.I got it for my nephew, who is 2 and a half, and although he is quite tall,so can use it,I feel he is still a little young, but come summer,i can see him tearing around on it.It was easy to put together, and it is a good, sturdy tractor. The trailer is great,as he can put his toys in it,or it is easily detached,so you just have the tractor on its own.

not one day has passed without my son sitting on it! he can't pedal yet, but he does not mind at all, bought it for his 2nd birthday...best present!... downside, we should have assembled it at night... I had to drag him out of the house while dad was huffing and puffing and trying to built it together....once built 5 stars, assembling 1-2 stars....

Very sturdy tractor and great quality. It was worth the money spent. The only downside was the instructions could be a lot clearer. However, with our tractor the horn was missing and the seller was very quick to respond to my email and sent the part as soon as he found out.I would definitely recommend without hesitation. Great product.

Bought this for my daughters 2nd birthday.... She loved it and so does her brother. Caused a huge argument and tantrums over who is going on it next..... Very fiddly to put together and you will need tools (I don't recommend improvising with the back of an axe like we did!!) definitely worth the money and I anticipate hours of fun ahead.
