I'm upgrading this from a 4 star to a 5. Grandson (s) - 2 yrs and 3 yrs love it. Just had 3 yr old grandson deliver logs to the stove in the living room from the back porch. Real hands on play. However, please read my initial posting below for the reality of putting it together.Warning! Assembly is not for the faint hearted. Do not leave till Christmas, Birthday or whatever morning to assemble. Once assembled it looks extremely high quality and all the instructions do mean something so study, read and understand before tackling. I had excess parts in some cases and it was almost as if these were the parts that might be damaged during assembly and they were spares.

Bought 2 from 2 separate places and they both came pre-assembled with only 1 rear wheel being driven, I think it is by design. It makes the pedals far easier to turn for smaller children. Tested it and it still tracks straight and goes forwards and backwards fine with a 3 tear old on. If it's not supposed to be like that then there is an easy access panel in to the pre-assembled part to have a mess about but I didn't feel the need...it works how it is.Other than that it was pretty much straight forward to assemble, the only issue is with the axle ends, personally I'd have made them some sort of screw fixing instead of needing a hammer!

The information on your site stated that no assembly work would be required. On receiving the dump truck it was only partially assembled (Rear wheels and pedal assembly only) The remainder was in pieces and had to be assembled using a very mediocre set of pictorial instructions ( Two of the pictures appeared to mean nothing) In addition the four screws to secure the "roll bar" were missing.Once assembled the dump truck was very good and my grandson loves it.

It looks super, but is a lot smaller than anticipated. Have read the feedback on the Assembly Instructions, trust me, this was easy compared to the John Deere 6210r Front Loader Tractor. There is nothing wrong with either of the products, but the assembly Instructions could be better. The wheel fixings would be improved by using threaded bar and Acorn nuts (Domed head Locknuts)

As the subject line reads - Fantastic once built. Just be aware that fitting the front wheels to the axle is a real pain. You WILL have to rummage in your garage for something convex in shape! well i did! don't know why they didn't use a threaded axle? Anyway...his face lit up and still lights up. he watches tv and eats on it! Bargain at £65....cheapest we found. happy digging!

This is a.lovely toy, very suitable for 3 years to 7 years. Instructions don't work properly and we ended up damaging one of the wheel hubs. Very grateful to Rolly Toys who replaced the damage parts free of charge.My grandchildren are having a wonderful time with it. It has a tow hitch on the back, so you could purchase a trailer afterwards and add to the fun.

Purchased this toy for my sons 2nd birthday. It took a bit more putting together than we hoped and the instructions were not the best but luckily my hubby is good at fixing things. The size of the truck was as hoped and my son could reach the pedals. He was excited when he saw the picture on the box and couldn't wait to get on it before it was all put together!

Bought this for my 2 yr old sons birthday. Husband had no trouble putting it together. The bolt holding the steering wheel came loose and then fell off when the boys were playing with it but was fine when put back on and retightened. Son can't peddle it yet as little legs can't quite reach the peddles. Well made and played with lots.

just put this product up and so very pleased with it very tough and hard wearing .no messing about soon done.know my little grandson will just love it as he is dumper mad.so very pleased make's a fantastic christmas present cant wait see his face xmas mouring very good value for money would recomend this product .

Bought for my grandsons 2nd birthday has hes mad on diggers and trucks . Assembling the steering column was a bit tricky but once in place the rest was easy and quickly assembled. Grandson loved it which is the main thing plus it's the cheapest I found on line so really pleased with my purchase.

I bought this two weeks ago, for my Grandsons 2nd Birthday. I couldn't wait to watch his face when he saw it! Inevitable result of Wow, and he sat on his new "Vroom Vroom" all day. Agree with other reviews, that it is tricky and time consuming to assemble.Well worth it though!

Bought this for my sons 2nd birthday as he is obsessed with diggers and dumpers etc. He loves it and it looks fab. Only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is its a pig to fit together when you get to the wheels. Took my partner over a hour as its very difficult.

A really great product: can be a bit of a mess around getting some of the cps on to steel bars. Bought the JCB dumper truck as I can fit a front loader on in place of the bucket if that's required in future.Also the multi trailer will hitch to it nicely!

Nightmare trying to get this product, so if your wanting it next day, I suggest going into a shop as it took over a week to arrive and definitely not prime. The product was ok to build, however after the stress of getting this, I wouldn't order it again.

Good prompt service. Not the first rolly toy bought but well made as always. Not easy to put together but can puzzle out pictures and bits after a while and a couple of arguments as to where parts go and when finished very good toy.
