I don’t always take the time to write reviews like I probably should but I felt it was necessary on this product for a couple reasons which I will explain below.1. The whole concept of a eco/environment friendly, RE-USEABLE notebook is just plain awesome! I have tried to switch to my iPad and Apple Pencil for note taking when it first came out, even tried fancy screen protectors with texture to feel more like paper but nothing will ever come close to the “pen to paper” feel to which I love when it comes to taking notes. Not to mention if you need to quickly jot something down, grabbing a pen and paper is much faster then your iPad - unlocking it and opening an app, a new note or notebook/page,etc…2. This notebook by far meets my needs when it comes to a “pen to paper” feel especially considering it is re-usable and scannable to so many platforms. Speaking of platforms, there are so many to choose from. I love that this company didn’t limit you to using and having to subscribe to their own service because that would have been less appealing and probably a no go for me. The app also can transcribe your notes if you choose making it easy for you to search for things. Oh how I spent hours looking through pages for a note I wrote down, “I know it’s here somewhere…” only to never have found it… Bonus points @Rocketbook!3. Microfiber Cloth: I am impressed at the quality of the microfiber cloth that was included. They could have easily given some thin crappy material that would have quickly deteriorated but nope, they spent the big bucks and included an extra thick and plushy cloth that makes me wish I had a bath robe or blanket made out of it! More bonus points @Rocketbook!4. Packaging: Cute packaging however, given the nature of having an environment friendly, re-usable notebook I would think the company would at least have recyclable packaging, this should be an easy change. @Rocketbook.Lots of pro’s and bonus points being thrown around I suppose it’s time to get to the nitty gritty, the “but…” Specifically pertaining to quality control, or is that even a thing @Rocketbook?1. Page cut quality… If you have ANY amount of OCD, this might be a problem. I am particular about what things I have OCD about, lol. Might sound silly but this bothers me a little for a couple reasons, mainly cause the company got everything else on point and let me down at something so simple to fix for an item they want to charge an amount that seems high to most, but I am willing to pay for so is it wrong that demand perfection? I made two separate purchases of Rocketbooks (one with 2-letters sizes and one with 1-executive), two different sizes, different colors, and one being the NEW “Fusion” which contains a few different page styles and all 3 books have flaws in the cuts of pages and some in the book covers (corners). Now, hear me out… a $2 notebook from where ever can give you straight pages, please tell me why when I am spending $34 (1 executive) or $68 (2 letters) I can’t get a notebook with straight pages??!?!?!?! I am supposedly going to have this thing for forever right? This is ANNOYING and a total let down. @Rocketbook - You need to redeem yourselves! *Photos provided.Tips: Clean up old paper notes by laying them on a Rocketbook page, add a title to the top in between double hashtags (## TITLE ##) so that it is searchable later (OCR must be enabled in settings), cross off your designated location at the bottom of the page, scan using the Rockbook app, and throw out your paper notes!!!

I have been using my rocketbook fusion daily for roughly 4 months now and have found it to be immensely helpful in my goal of reducing waste and clutter around my desk for notes and drawings that I'd like to keep a record of, but not necessarily in physical form (for example, brain storms, sketches, and the like). The fusion handles both of these requirements nicely with the ease at which I can wipe pages clean with just a bit of water on the provided cloth and the scanner app that is available to send your notes to various destinations (I'm pretty simple in my usage here and just use email without OCR).While I wouldn't give up this notebook for my needs (mostly creative writing and NOT high speed note taking during a lecture),there are a few things that I think would help make for a better experience:1. Don't use the provided 0.7mm pilot frixion that comes with the notebook. It bleeds too easily on the paper which has a glossy feel and is less absorbent than your standard run-of-the-mill loose leaf making the dry time too long for fast note taking (especially if you're working with less real estate in the executive size book like myself). I would suggest getting yourself the 0.5mm frixion that allows for much more precision and has better flow control for the ink that comes out of the pen. My own handwriting is very small so I still experience a bit of bleeding, but it is still a marked improvement over the base 0.7 that is provided.2. Hard and heavier covers would be so very, very nice. The flexible covers aren't quite stiff enough such that you could use the notebook well without a hard surface beneath it. Also, they have warped over time with the jostling against other items in my EDC bag (see attached pic for my notebooks natural state now). In order to get a good scan, I typically have to bend the pages to get them to flatten for the few seconds it takes to snap the picture.3. The spiral spine. I suspect that it's probably difficult to do traditional threaded binding on these pages given their material but that spine is simply too noticeable to just ignore completely. While I've gotten more used to it over time, everything would be much more comfortable if that hump simply wasn't there.Just to be clear, these points don't prevent me from using the notebook for its intended purpose. I am very happy with what it is and what it has allowed me to do!

Summary: Great idea, good for students but the pen ink takes long to dry (not great for left handed writers) and scans take long and aren't perfect.Pros:- Great pen and writing surface- App is easy to setup and use- Multiple page styles are very useful to stay organizedCons:- ink smudges immediately after writing- scans take very long and aren't perfect- not good for left handed writersI purchased this notebook with because I was buying notebooks every semester and then throwing them out afterwards even though it wasn't fully used. This is an awesome solution to that problem. It has more than enough pages to last an entire school day or two. The different page styles are great different types of course loads.I used the grid pages for my math, physics courses and the lined style for written work. The calendars are also very useful for staying organized. The paper feels very nice to write with. It's smooth like writing on a whiteboard but if you prefer the feel and resistance of paper I would stay away from this product. However, the rocketbook isn't perfect.I found that the ink took a couple minutes to dry which made it inconvenient to erase text right away. I had to wait until it dried completely, otherwise it would smudge, which is why I would advise left handed writers to skip this notebook. Also, the scans took a longtime to process and sometimes comes out with yellow dots on the page. The text is still legible but it wasn't always a clean scan.To conclude, the rocketbook is a solid notebook and I would recommend it to any right handed, student who wants go paperless without breaking the bank.

I deliberated for quite a while before purchasing, due to the price point and various reviews. On the whole, I'm very happy with the product. It does exactly what it promises to, and for once an app designed to work with this sort of thing works, and works very well. I am very heavy handed and was concerned that my writing would 'indent' on the pages. I do see a little shadow when erasing, but not enough to bother me. The paper itself is very nice to write on.A couple of very slight niggles worth calling out though. The cover is flimsy, I usually prefer a hard-backed notebook for times when I'm not at my desk. Secondly, the book is quite thin - while you're unlikely to run out of space,it would be nice if it felt chunkier. That said, it is very light to carry around. Lastly, there is only one page of 'to do' lists. While there are blank pages you can use for this, as a fanatical list maker, I would like more. All in all though, an excellent product and I'm very pleased with it.

Great product and exactly as described. I'm no longer drowning under mountains of paperwork and notes. I feel organised knowing precisely where all my notes are stored and how easily they can be retrieved through the Cloud.Knocked a star off because the Frixion pen ran out after a week and around 20 pages of notes. Currently waiting for refills. As they're plastic, it defeats the point of an eco-friendly notebook. However, in every other aspect, I'm happy. The app is functional and intuitive to use. Others complained about the Rocketbook being flimsy but it's no less sturdy than a normal notebook. Overall, I'd recommend this product.

I really like this product so far, it is exactly how it's described. The only cons would be that it is very flimsy, and there is no place to hold the pen or microfibre cloth. I imagine this is to help sell their various folios but they are very overpriced. Secondly, I noticed that the packaging says to not leave a page written on for over a month or risk permanent marks, I find this concerning considering this is likely to happen with the calendar page. Overall this is as described, I also bought the frixion felt tips which work well with it but need much longer to dry than the pen does

Its just like writing in a paper notebook(I was worried it would be like a whiteboard) It's lightweight so it is easy to carry about. It has different sections such as the monthly planner so notes are more organised, the app guides you what to do step by step so it's simple to store notes you need to keep. It comes with a pen & cloth to wipe clean & once erased the page is good as new to start new notes. The frixion pens are also widely available to replace, in various colours too. It would have been nice if it came with a carrier to keep the notebook, pen& cloth together

I really like this notebook and would highly recommend it. It provides a great way to organise my work and there's something really nice about being able to simply wipe away notes I don't need without having to waste paper. The only learning points I'd mention are, I started using post it notes to create separate sections but the glue marks the pages. Equally where I wear foundation and touch the pages its leaves marks so just be conscious of this too. These points aside it's a great notebook if you're thinking about buying one just do it, you'll love it.

Before buying, I was carefully reading reviews and there was a few complaints, that edge cuts was note straight. My arrived on my birthday and first think I looked after unpacking was edges, they looks perfect on my Rocketbook. I’ve got a different 0.5mm pens with a few colors and can say that Rocketbook app was optimized and color scans are great. I’m enjoying my Rocketbook and all my friends want to get a same when they see mine :)

This product combines brilliantly the ease of manual notetaking/sketching with digital storage. The cloud storage is more than just saving a photo; you can choose on the page of each note where you want it to be saved (email, onedrive, googledrive, dropbox etc). Writing on the notebook pges feels not far off writing on actual paper and the pages are easily wiped clean for reuse. Soo much better than having numerous paper notebooks.

Brought this for my wife as she's always making notes. It works great, the pages wipe clean and if you happen to forget a note and it won't remove a little water on the provided cloth cleans it right off.Yes the cover is a little flimsy but it's an eco product and I wouldn't expect plastic. Plus it does state that in the description of the product. All in all it does as promised and hopefully she'll be using it for some time.

17.6.2020

I like the notebook, it's great for going paperless, I just hate the pens, the frixion pen smears really easily and doesn't have a good feel to it. Would be at 5 stars if they could offer a better range of pens for this, ones that don't smear!Notebook itself is slightly flimsy feeling, but that's just getting used to it not being paper, I would prefer it to have a hardcover to add some stability.

1.6.2020

Very smart bit of kit when twinned with the app - files all your notes by ## title ## and saves them in the cloud or emails them.Frixion ink glides on easily to the smooth pages and wipes off in a flash. The different pages in the Fusion notepad make diagrams, to-do lists and schedules a breeze. It’s pricey, but if it holds up to repeated use, it could be the last pad I ever buy!

6.11.2020

Have used a smaller RocketBook for a while and decided to buy a larger one with a few more templated pages in an effort to reduce the many scraps of paper that build up on my desk. In my opinion these are slightly expensive, but that aside, this is a very useful and helpful accessory - and if it lasts 3-4 years may well pay for itself.

10.1.2021

All functionalities are really good, writing and removing works well. In total I’m impressed with the book. The pre made sections also come in handy. Just one bit, I wish a pen holder was present. Only specific pen works and if lost need to get similar pens which adds up. Rest everything works fine.
