Bed is going to be used as a 'put you up' over Christmas and was a little unsure given other reviews for the item. I too am a Robens fan so decided to give it a go. Sturdy, well built and definitely not an item to take backpacking. I'd say the leg fitting system, referred to elsewhere, is genuine albeit tricky and you really do need to work out what you are doing first and then commit yourself! Would buy another one given a reason.

Very small pack, by the clever folding technique of the 5 foot frames, but absolutely robust. It requires some practice / force to overcome the strong pretension of the foot frames and lock the bar with the hand. The reclining comfort is very good and by the low height above the tent floor very well Suitable for low backpacking.

Small packaged, but not lightweight. So not suitable for the walker. For car camping recommended. Excellent quality, and even better quality of sleep. A must for those whose weight is not important

night at the campsite impeccable with this cot. We even used a foam mattress (memory shape), it does not slip because there are elastics on the cot and suddenly we were as good as in a TRUE bed.

Super nice campsite bed - easy to assemble and divide again - and you are well placed on it - highly recommended :-)
