This review is for the 26x1.4 tire.I replaced my 26 x 1.95 knobby tires on my bike with two of these tires. So far, I've ridden 200 miles on these tires on limestone crush, paved trails and roads. The tire is labeled and says 85PSI, so I filled both of my tires to near this level. The tires handle really well, are easy to corner with, and are a definite improvement on speed versus my old knobby tires.In terms of using your MTB on the roads with these tires (the 1.4 tires), you will notice that you can get away with a few hard bumps and still be OK. In slick conditions, I've managed to do well with the tires also (although I gave myself more braking distance.)

I Had My Doubts, especially since the description does not have PSI RATINGS!!! I had to look on the reviews and bike forums to get more info. I bought the Slick 1.4 for my Cannondale Chase 3 and It is an Awesome tire!!! I wouldnt say I go much faster in these as I Maxed out my speed at 24mph with my old Kenda K-Rads which had a max psi rating of 80 and a consistent speed of 18-20mph. The Main difference here is Im able to consistently maintain a higher speed of 22mph and Above on the Slicks, as oppose to my Kendas which I can only do in Burst.

First time I have purchased bicycle tires online and I recived them ahead of schedule.Great tire and a good price with fantastic service through Amazon. These are my 3rd set of "Tom Slicks" I commute to work 4 days a week on average and these tires have really provided the service one does not expect. This is why I am on my 3rd set in 10yrs. averaging 80-100 miles per week.

Super slick tires... Ritchey, what can I say about your awesome products... they are just awesome... Got these tires for my brother to put on his 26" Scott for roller cycling... so far nice... best sweat ever on the roller with these slicks...

This is the second set I've owned, and they perform great for street use. The only MTB slicks I could find that are rated for 100 lbs PSI.

I love these tires. They really stick to the road and I can make some nice corners on them. I feel fast and in-control on these.

Smooth rolling. bike handles well with these tires. A little heavier than other 26 x 1 in tires I have used.

These are excellent, but hard to find, cheap but sturdy tires. And they are a bargain.
