Got this to save burning down the tent with a gas lantern. Wasn't sure about the ethereal blue light at first but in practice it's bright and very natural and easy to read by etc. Best thing is that the AA batteries last ages - still using the same set well into its second year. Robust and stable and they have redesigned the hanging loop since I got mine (which is an improvement). Pressing the top button switch successively gives on; flash; off. Flash is a bit annoying because you've got to go through this phase to reach "off". For me, doesn't detract from what is an excellent item, though.

One of the best lamps for camping in a tent that houses up to four people. Easy to operate, and emits a lot of light considering that it is a small lamp. . My only complaint is that the picture of this tent is misleading both on the Amazon site and the packaging. The top of the handle is straight not notched as shown, which may make it more difficult to keep it level when hanging it from the roof of a tent.

Very practical little lantern with a very bright light - and a handy clip for camping etc. Definitely good value and it comes with batteries already supplied.

Reasonable light output for size. Only wanted for emergency use ie power cuts and havn't had one yet this winter. Good price & quick delivery.
