i was looking for a decent torch for working round the car i had tried a number of torches they usually break or dont give out a good light. the ring feels really well made as soon as you hold it it feels solid there is no creaking or flexing and if it drops nothing at all happens, although for the build quality the belt clip at the back is plastic its possible to break it but under normal conditions its more than adequate, and its screwed on so possibly replacable.as for the light it has less LED's than some competitors but there is a great reflector and lens which make it much brighter than other torches ive tried there is a good wide usable bright light which is ideal round a car or even

I received this as a present but I will use it for work in electrical switchrooms and on my car. I have tried to see how long the light would last but after 3.5 hours it was still going strong. This is quite amazing. I would think the tungsten bulb equivalent would be about 50W, but in a well focused beam. It will light up a very large room quite easily and yet runs cold.I can clip it to the front of my jacket and have more light than expected when working on panels. Under cars there is more than enough light to work on even fine-detail jobs.It recharges in 6 hours and comes complete with a charger. When charging a red LED shows on the front and the battery pack gets warm.Would I recommend it?

Didn't like at first as made from plastic that is too slippy and handle not ergonomic, too thin at edges for reliable grip. Using as lantern mainly. Probably good for camping if able to re-charge from anything other than mains which is a bit of a drawback. It's growing on me the more I use it. Also lamp won't stand up on its own reliably, flat base would have been nice. May attach a magnet to improve versatility.

Had one of these lights for 11 years and it still works and holds a charge for months when not in use .A fresh full charge will last a couple of hours until the light dims . It can also be used whilst connected to the mains charger .It is only used a few times a year on average .

I am impressed with the brightness of this lamp. It is slim and will fit in tight spaces in the engine bay. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it needs a magnet. This would allow it to be fixed to the bodywork leaving both hands free to work.

I'm a mechanic and I think this torch is excellent.I use it daily for inspecting vehicles and it's great for working in hard to access ares like under dashboards etc.Battery life is good and the light emitted is bright. Nice handy size too.

Absolutely brilliant lamp, only drawback is no stand on this model but there is on the RIL2550?? I didn't realize this as I was buying it to replace one I'd lost or someone stole as it's that good!!

You can't fault these lamps.They seem to provide endless light with very little re-charging.One of the best lamps on the market if not the best for all round performance.

Great inspection light, very robust with an easy to use switch,usefully bright and the charge lasts ages. I use it regularly in my work and haven't had to recharge yet

I love this ring piece. It is great quality lasts ages and really feels good on in my hands. I have never been into rings untill now. What can I say I'll never go back

Absolutely Brilliant, no other comment is necessary,a good bright light, a sensible long life after charging,very usefull and can take a big drop onto garage floor.

I bought one of these lamps six months ago, it has been really excellent. So much so, I bought another one so that I always have one charged and ready.

delivery was very quick, lamp is really bright and handy size for the tool box. being an electrician the lamp has been a great help

An excellent product that does exactly as we expected. Works well & is reliable, it is also reasonably shock proof & tough.
