This is the glass that set my husband and I on the path of collecting a range of Reidel glasses for the different wine types. We saw an article in Decanter magazine about this glass and decided to try it as we're very interested in wine tasting. We were stunned by the difference it made to fine Burgundy and thought back over wines we've had that would have been so much better if only we'd realized what a huge difference the shapeof the glass could make to the flavour of a wine. What's astonishing about the Reidel glasses (and not just this top of the range one) is that if you pour a wine back and forth between the recommended glass and another shape the wine switches back and forth in flavour.

Amazing glasses. Nicest I have ever owned. A real chime when you clink 2 together. They are thin so you have to take a lot of care with them, but so you should for something so beautiful.

Too bad I broke one of them before I even get to use it! Great quality glass.
