Now I've got the hang of it and experimented with a few different rice combinations it's great. The trick is to cook the jasmine rice and let it cool first before putting it in the cube otherwise it's a little too sticky and can be pretty messy (for sushi at least) the instructions weren't too clear on that and even though there are some recipe and guidelines on the website, they're not particularly helpful. Otherwise it's a really fun little kitchen gadget. Going to be so useful for taking lunches to work now!

Got this a few weeks ago now, was dubious about getting in for fear of it being a novelty and not really working. Well, it isn't a novelty and it does work. Only filling I've used is tuna mayo and am very happy with results for my bento. If you are using tuna mayo as a filling I found you have to squeeze / press as much fluid out of the tuna as possible (found putting a lump in my hand and making a fist works best) otherwise when in the rice cube you end up squeezing the fluid out then and it gets messy.

Nice concept and does produce nice little bites but not as effective as I'd hoped. There does seem to be a bit of a problem with rice sticking to the cube which means some come out broke or misshapen. I intend to sit down and experiment further with the ingredients to figure out a better rice/water/other ingredient ix to see if this can be improved upon.

Ok, I have to admit that I thought it was a bit of a gimmick - I was wrong. This little cube is awesome, my children have sushi most days for lunch with this, they love it and it is easy and looks great.Goes in the dishwasher too - makes me look like a kitchen goddess :)

We use this gadget a lot. It is super easy to use and with four cubes each we are stuffed! We usually put in salmon, egg, avocado, cucumber, and with sides of pickled ginger, soya sauce and wasabi it makes for a quick and delicious dinner.

Super little fun thing. Very professional looking sushi. Tastes much better than shop bought sushi. Expensive, but worth it. I can even use it with my arthritic hands.

Arrived much quicker than anticipated, really quirky and original idea. Spotted it in Amsterdam and then found it cheaper here - a lovely gift.

Easy to use although the cubes are quite large and not easy to eat in one bite. I decided to put in less rice and have a smaller cuboid.

We love sushi but don't like to get our hands sticky. Have used the mould quite a few times and will keep using it. Money well spent!
