I found the instructions were a bit unclear with regard to the position of one or two parts. It was useful to do a dry run using masking tape to hold the fuselage parts together while I positioned the bulkhead and instrument panel from the underside to get it right. Other than that, I had to use a little filler on almost every major join. Nicely detailed cockpit and engine, plenty of decals but no pilot - I had to supply one from my spares box.

Good detailing on the mouldings, not too much flashing, Revell seem to mould in various colours, this one was white, but I have had blue, grey, this one white which seem to be plastic, but I had a green one recently which I think was moulded in poly prop, not very good at all.This one thankfully was good and the finished model, impressive.

Got it last year, was very impressed.This is an example of modern production by Revell, not a rebox of an old Frog or Matchbox model. This tool has been redesigned in 2014 and looks spectacular. Amazing shape, beautiful lines, lovely canopy, landing gear detail is not flimsy.After 20 models, this has by far stayed my favourite.

Despite the low cost of this kit it is an excellent build and is well detailed. It is up there with other manufacturers, especially the more expensive 1/72 Corsairs. Tip: it makes for an easier nose and cowling assembly if the wings are dry fitted.

For a 1/72nd scale kit, this has all the look of a much larger scale. The cockpit is incredibly detailed, gunsight, 3 instrument panels, proper rudder pedals, just brilliant. A brilliant kit, well above par for this scale / budget!

Lovely kit. This one has been built up as "Skipper" for my son and he loves it. some slight filling needed in gaps but nothing major

A really good kit. Enjoyed it a lot. Lots of detail. The propeller fitting worked well. Decals were good quality.
