I've been wanting to get a decent replica of the Falcon for ages and have been unimpressed with the look of the various die cast versions available. I know there are some excellent big model kits out there but I'm not much of a modeller, plus I only wanted a small replica. I then discovered the Revell Build & Play kit and after watching a couple of Youtube videos decided that it looked pretty good so decided to buy one.I have to say I'm delighted with it. The kit consists of about 20 pieces which snap together and takes only about 15 minutes to build, and the finished product is about 20cm x 10cm. Even though it's described as a "toy" it's actually one of the best looking replicas of the Falcon I've seen.

I bought this on a whim after watching a youtube video, expecting something like an Airfix kit. Sadly (for me) it's a toy that you snap together, pre-painted.The details are great and it fits together well. It's pre-painted. Great for kids, adult modellers will want something a bit more challenging. It's still got a spot on my windowsill.

Really crisp detail for what is essentially a toy. Was going to buy the £50 model version but this is much better, but smaller. Will treat it as a scale model and repaint and weather it. I think it will come up very nicely.
