Recently back into modelling I fancied a go at a Star Wars model and though this was a cheap first option. There aren't many parts and assembly is completed quite quickly. The front arms didn't fit quite so well and required a firm grip (a clamp would have been better) for a few miniutes whilst the glue set to stop them separating. To be honest, this set is more about the painting than the building, and a set of wash paints gave this a very nice looking effect. I spray painted the stand in gloss black just to finish it off.I do like the finished model, though the size is very small, it fits in the palm of your hand. And price wise the £3 shipping charge makes it only ok value for money,

Bought as a proxy for x-wing miniatures game by ffg. For this purpose it is pretty damn good. It works out a bit smaller than the FFG one but does not look out of place next to the fighter-class minis. This is a supremely easy model kit for anyone who has minimal modelling experience, but minimal paint and glue skills are required. Also be careful with the clear plastic parts, my engine cover Was mishapen and broke while trying to modify it.The scale is not proportional to the x-wing minis falcon - the x wing falcon is supposedly 1/270th, and this works out much smaller. However it doesn't look too weird. I've ordered two more so I can make a proper custom freighter. Ignore my crappy paintwork,

if anyone is wondering about the size, it is about the size of my palm of my hand, but the kit is durable... fiddly for its size which is understandablebut very good qualityI would recommend mixingTamiya: RLM Grey (XF-22), Lemon Yellow (X-8), and Flat White (XF-2) until you get the exact balance, as results are more accurate to the Falcon I foundI added my finished build. my only problem was the stand but it was not an issue with the kit itself as it was down to my own fault when assembling i had a slip up.... (is not fibre optic, however can be converted as shown)

Well, it is small - around 100mm long - and cheap, so wasn't expecting much. Only bought it as needed something cheap to get the free postage.I was however, pleasantly surprised by the amount of surface detailIt should paint up quite well straight from the box for kids to smash up or for use as a desk ornament - mine will get some super detailing though

This model out of the set feels like the smallest but I was really surprised how good it looks. This model is the easiest to put together, I used a uni-ball Posca paint Marker to dirty up the model by smudging it into the detail. This model does has it own stand so it will look great on a shelf.

Great price. You don't get any paint or glue with it. I think the hardest part of this model is going to be painting it. The size is exactly what I wanted. Going to look great when it's done.

Great starter model for anyone to build, pieces click together fairly simple :D This was one of several I ordered. Gives you a great base model to make alterations to :)

Fab! My nephew loved his. He has ASD and he says it helps him to calm down when he needs to. I am buying him as many in this series as I can. Love them.

My 9yr old grandson loved it, bit of a challenge, but he was very happy. And kept quiet for some time too ( win win).

bought this for my son inlaw for Christmas he loves star wars and loves this model quite easy to do and looks great

Pieces are well detailed and the instructions are good. Only gripe is the size.
