All the best things come in small packages. The Luchs was late WW2 version of the PzKpfw II that was only produced in small numbers. Intended as a reconnaissance tank it featured a 20mm quick firing anti aircraft gun and an MG34 machine gun. The turret was finally fitted to the Puma armoured cars when production of this tank finished. With a healthy top speed of 60km/h the final version featured a Rhinemetal 50mm KwK 39/1 cannon.The model is very well represented and goes together flawlessly. Well done Revell Germany for producing another fine example of their ever expanding range of 1/72 armour.

Fantastic little (operative word: little ?) reconnaissance AFV. Lots of detail, clean lines but immoveable KWK/MG in the vertical but this takes nothing away from a first class 1/72 model.
