At £27.50 this is very good value for a 1/32 scale kit. The kit is modern, quite accurate, provides several options for different build variants of the early P51D-5NA Mustang and has good decals. The kit will build well straight from the box, but there are third party accessories which can be used to further improve detail. The kit does not model the engine or gun bay detail, and the undercarriage wheel well detail is a little basic. The Tamiya kit does provide these missing extra details but it is four times the price. If you want to model a late model P51D, then you will have to modify the kit with the tail fillet.

Really looking forward to building this, seen it made online and from the kit looks like it will build really well and at £31 for a new tool 1/32nd what’s not to like. It’s £80 cheaper than it’s rivals and apart from not having an engine to build, it’s pretty much on par details wise. Even if you went nuts with all the after market you would still save loads of money. Bargain!!!

Revell have definitely cornered the market for an inexpensive 1/32 kit of this historic fighter. Yes, there's the bells and whistles Tamiya kit and the super detailed Zoukei Mura kit, however what you get in the Revell box is a well detailed, accurate replica at a fraction of the price of the aforementioned manufacturers. More like this please Revell!

Lo mejor que puedes encontrar para los amantes de la segunda guerra mundial, excelente detalle de piezas, ideal para conocedores en maqueteria, excelente para personas que les gusta dificultad en el armado por la cantidad de piezas y detalles, recomendado para hacerlo como proyecto de padre e hijo o solo como hobby.

At 1:32 scale this is ideal for any modeller, nice size, fits together with ease, instructions are detailed and parts identified on the sprues, I painted some parts prior to gluing together mainly the cockpit and wheel wells if the wheels are down, in all a great kit and detailed

Very good model kit and great value. 1:32 scale is big for a single engined fighter. Its not for the beginner really- Skill level 5 but worth taking a little time over. The mouldings are crisp and the tooling not yet worn out . Worth the money- defintely!

Not started it yet but the detail is outstanding! I've always wanted a P51 without the the dorsal fillet and now I have. From the break down of the kit pieces it looks like a late version is on the cards ! Excellent value highly recommended.

very good kit as other reviews will attest. i was responsible for preparing the decal artwork for this kit so it was purchased just to see how good the printing was. i might get round to building the kit one day!

This new kit from Revell is accurate and has just the right level of panel detailing. So often the panel detail is either too heavy or too light to be convincing but it appears just right to me.

Was beginning to despair of Revell recently but this kit has given me some hope. Not sure how old the kit is but it went together well. No serious trimming which is a relief.

care must be taken to fitting parts,some instructions are not very clear as there are different versions of the model . a little help in which one you want would be helpful.

Well produced and detailed kit of the early "D" version Mustang. Lots of optional parts. Extremely well priced for a 1/32nd scale kit. Excellent value.

Good quality and detailed parts, but fit between parts not always accurate, and attachment of parts to sprue sometimes 'over-engineered'!

Looks a superb kit, haven’t started to make it yet as just completing a ME 109. Looking at the parts I would give it 10 out of 10.

This is a great value model. Highly detailed although I found some of the fit required a bit of work but well worth the money
