For an old tooling this stands up pretty well. It's a big kit and great value. The general shape and form seems accurate and out of the box will make a nice model. However, the details are basic and this scale lends itself nicely to super detailing. The cockpit is very basic, some details moulded on that need careful painting but little else. Perfect excuse for some p.e. and scratchbuilding. The removable panel to show off one of the engines is a nice touch. The undercarriage is sturdy but basic. Fit issues are few, most can be dealt with easily. For the price, you can't go wrong. Doesn't come close to the Tamiya or HK kit for detail but it's cheap.

Big Beautiful Mosquito, This kit I cannot say is for beginners. I think its an old Monogram tooling so there is not much detail in the cockpit although there is some. The main problem with the kit is the flash on the parts and the amount of sanding you will need to do to get the fuselage seam to disappear. The kit has a representation of a rolls royce merlin but I would not bother with displaying as its very basic. But for around £20 the completed model looks lovely when built, and the alternatives from other manufacturers will make your wallet go ouch

I was not happy about the way this was dispatched. An address label was just stuck on the box and the box sent. The box had inevitably got squashed and slightly damaged. This was a gift, so I took off the label and it has left marks on the box, defacing it. It does not look as if it new now. Looking back I see I could have asked for this to be packaged. I didn't spot this and it may have cost more. I really didn't expect an item to be sent without packaging! The box didn't even have cellophane covering it. Not satisfactory in my opinion.

Good model. I fitted electric motors to make it more realistic. I am considering purchasing another for this model could also have Led's at the wingtips in green & red also there is room for 2mm Led's in white for, landing lights under the wing. Motors are easily held in place using silicone. The undercarriage doors have a very good fixing if you want the undercarriage down, usually this is not good in many models but Revell get 10/10 for a well constructed model.

Fantastic model the detail is spot on with the original plane lots of nice little touches such as the engine on display if you want it the cockpit is right on the money I've seen the cockpit on a real mosquito and the model is superb not a model for the beginner though there are some fiddly pieces but a great model for the enthusiast.

Just had this delivered today so not built yet.Bought it brand new for a bargain of 19.99 and that is excellent for a larger scale model. All parts and decals look good with some nice enough detail .... it says on the box it's a level 4 kit... but don't think it will be that difficult.... all in all a nice kit without forking out.

This model represents the wooden wonder, best known as the Mosquito. It could out fly anything during the Second World War. The simplicity of its construction, made it lighter than many other aircraft, it was faster and very manouverable. Plus it could easily be adapted to various needs. A wonderful aircraft indeed.

This is a relatively old, simple kit and builds into an impressive whole. Not super detailed, and had some fit issues around engine nacelles which required filling and sanding. Overall, though, great value. if you want to go mad on detail, buy Tamiya at many times the cost!

This is a large scale model, but not particularly detailed and therefore not too many parts. I would say it is ideal for younger modellers. Experienced modellers may be disappointed but there are much more detailed (and expensive) Mosquito kits available.

This Revel Mosquito goes way back. There are many after market kit modifiers all expensive. Its clean an sharp on the sprues with a good decal sheet. This one is a day bomber version, I'll do it as night bomber. Highly recommended

For the price it's a fantastic kit. Requires a little bit of enjinuity to get some of the bits to fit but that's part of modeling.Little bit of flashing on some of the parts but all round a good model kit.Very pleased!

quite complex, but very enjoyable to do...I found that the best thing I did was to aquire a dremel type of tool I got mine for £11.00 makes the job considerably easier for cleaning any rough areas, drilling, cutting, etc

A good model kit, but disappointed that there were no paints included nor any glue. Once the paint was sourced and bought, which was no easy task, the model became that much more expensive.

Makes up into a very nice model. All the parts fit well. Painted up, it looks quite authentic. When compared with the very reasonable price; this is a very wothwhile kit to build.

Basic fuselage structure although thThe starboard engine can be displaying revealing the cradle and the brackets involved. Could be difficult for a novice builder.
