Properllerheads removed Reason Suite from their web store with the launch of Reason+, their subscription model for Reason. If you want to buy a perpetual license, the boxed copy is the only option you have. As of February 2021, when I purchased this, they still honor the license included in the box.Reason in general is worth a buy. I honestly can't imagine making music with anything else, primarily because of the Rack. Your instruments and effects are treated as physical devices mounted into a virtual rack-mount environment, complete with knobs to twiddle and the freedom to reroute cables if Reason's suggested connections aren't to your liking. If you don't want to give up your current DAW,Reason 11 also lets you load the Rack as a VST3 plugin, giving you the best of both Reason and whatever software you're already comfortable with. Note that this replaces ReWire, Reason's previous method of integrating with other DAWs, but it's less clumsy to set up and I find it a worthwhile change.I'm a tad annoyed with everything moving to subscription, but it's the way the market is going, so the move was inevitable. You can still buy the standard version of Reason as a one-time license, but if you want the Suite - Which includes several extra instruments and effects that you'd otherwise have to purchase or subscribe to separately - the boxed copies are the only option that remains.
