Ok, so I was a little apprehensive ordering this for my mum as we are all grownups (me the oldest at 28) and didn't want it to be aimed at young kids like most of the games on the wii.I am a seasoned gamer on the PC and used to fast gaming action, whereas my mum prefers the simplicity of wii sports. I guess I decided to buy the game on the back of a number of good reviews, the support for the wii fit balance board and that it is rated 7+.My mum (50's) has bought a number of games with the 3+ rating and they are too simple and not challenging enough. Whereas RRTVP is just about right for all ages!I have been working my way through the single player mode and am hooked on the music games, whereas my sister and her boyfriend (both 29) enjoy having a laugh playing the dancing games. We currently only have two controllers and the balance board and find it great. You will need quite a big space to be able to fit four people dancing, however I think the music game would be great fun with four people at the same time!!My mum has tried the balance board for the sledding and finds it easier than the controllers (I am the other way around - years of gaming with mouse/keyboard).There are a number of games which do get quite repetitive and even after 3 weeks of playing (cant go out cause of ankle in cast), I still cant get my head around the pimp my rabbid game!! I am now working my way back through the week trying to unlock (score 15,000+ or hidden boxes) the various outfits.Overall I would definitely recommend this game to any family, young or old. Older family members will enjoy the simplicity of the controls, while younger players/gamers will enjoy the solo mode to unlock the various games for the rest of the family/party mode.I would have to put this game up with wii sports for enjoyment and I am even thinking about ordering the original raving rabbids game for more party fun.Great buy for only £17.

I bought this wii game as a present for my niece. We have played the other Rayman Rabbid games together and had so much fun so I bought this one for her for Christmas. I expect we'll have as much, if not more fun from this one. You can use the wii balance board with it and it shows you exactly how to place the board and where to stand or sit on it. You can still use it if you haven't got a balance board because it asks you at the beginning if you have one and I presume you can play all the games with or without it. My niece has a balance board and watching her and my nephew play on this game was absolutely hilarious. Plus it exercises your body without you noticing and in an extremely fun way.I certainly work up a sweat when I play. Some of the games you don't play with the board anyhow. You can play multi- player, single player or alternate players, depending on the game. I forgot to say that my niece is 16 and my nephew is 21 but i'm sure younger children can also have fun too. The game if for 7+ but I can't see any reason that younger kids can't play on it. Rayman and his granny get to dress up for some of the games I think. With this game you get quite a few sub menus so you can pick the kind of game you want to play and you have to better your previous score to get a high score and unlock the next game. Sometimes its not really clear what you have to do to get the score that you need so you may have to use trial and error. Also you need the nunchuck to play the game (you can't play the game without it, which is like a lot of wii games any way so most people with have the nunchuck)I recommend this and and any Rayman Rabbid game to watch or play, you can have as much fun doing either. Buy this game

The title says it all.I've owned this game for a few months now, and my sister and I both agree that it is the best Wii game we own. There are a multitude of games, most of which make innovative use of the Wii balance board. From dancing to shooting to driving to surfing through space on an ironing board, this game seems to encompass a variety of mini-games which appeal to everyone. So far I've tried out this game on family members and friends aged 13-65 and they all loved it. The comedy element of Rayman's Raving Rabbids keeps it fun and light-hearted: this is a game which does not take itself too seriously.Downsides? A nunchuck is required to play, even for games which don't need one. Therefore in our house, although there are two of us and two Wii remotes, we can't play side by side because we only have a single nunchuck. Also, if you share the room with your Wii in with someone else who isn't playing it, the constant 'bwaaa! baaa grahhhh!' of the Rabbids can get a little wearing. It didn't take long after we first got the game for my dad (who was sitting in the same room doing a crossword) to say 'can't you shoot that rabbit thing making all the noise?'The solution, of course, is to turn the volume down. But where's the fun in that?I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone, especially younger players. It's everything you love in a game - unique, interactive, imaginative and most of all, great fun for everyone. An excellent buy.

Ok,lets start from the start. When i got it, I was obsessed playing much of the day on it. The 'Solo' mode is very short. It was very fun to start off with but then you are left with only the boring and rubbish events. This gets then becomes very tedius and it is not worth finnishing. Although, saying that, when your do an event you can send off your score via internet to world rankings and see where you are in the world. This is great and this is the fact that makes the game worth buying. I personaly am 2nd in the world at sos red plantet 2 and 4th at sos red planet 1. This shows that there are not that many people playing it. The multiplayer is good but some of the games are not very good with more than one person and can be aquad to fit around a tv.Me and my friends were playing a game where you sit on the balance board and lean left and right to steer. This only has one player at a time and is slow to switch between players. But and this is a big but... its so much fun. whilst your on, and its your turn, your friends have the chance to sabatarge you. This really got us going and was a great laugh. My overal thought is that it is a great game. But dont spend more than £30 on it. It has been out a while and its not worth it unless you have the internet and have your friends around to play your wii regualy.I give it 91 out of 100.

For a party this game is simply brilliant! My son and his partner visited for Christmas and this game was one of the highlights. Just as good with 2, 3 or 4 players. Some of the individual games are turn based, others are simultaneous, in both styes, everyone is involved either by playing, competing, egging on or disrupting. A number of the turn based games allow the non-player(s) to try to zap the main player. Its fast moving and completely bonkers, I don't know what the developers were on when they wrote this game, all I can say is it certainly brought a smile to everyone's faces. You never quite know what to expect next. Each of the individual games are basically similar to those you'll find in other titles (racing, slalom, shooting, dancing etc), but invariably with a twist that varies between mildly humerous to completely lunatic. There will undoubtedly be people who are offended by the idea of shooting bunnies (actually rabbids), or riding an upside down cow down a slalom, or feel its too silly to race a tractor in which case it might be better to look for something more conventional. While it may not suit everyone, this game will continue to be a firm favourite for livening up family get togethers in our house.

The latest game in the Rayman Raving Rabbids series is great fun to play either on your own or with up to 8 people. It is compatable with the balance board and makes good use of it. Some games you are sat on the board and others standing. It is a little difficult to get the hang of it initially but once you have practiced a few times its not too hard. There are songs to keep time to as in previous games. A few more up to date titles such as Britneys Toxic and Amy W's you know that I'm no good. There are also dancing tasks which involve the balance board as well as the nunchuck/controller. This is one game that would be good with a wireless nunchuck as I often forgot about the wire when waving myarms around stretching the wire a bit. There are lots of mini games to work through and by getting high scores you are given more items to pimp your rabbid. The games are not too easy either it takes a while to get onto the scoreboard. The game is also compatable with wifi so you can upload high scores to see your world rankings and also show others your pimped rabbids.Overall a great fun game making good use of the balance board.

We have 4 children (aged 3 to 13) and were looking for games that they could all get involved in and have fun with and this is the bee's-knee's. First off its hilariously funny and even watching it is fun. Some games are hard (but it might just be me and my lack on control with the remote), others are not so hard, so there something for everyone. There are many different types of games from shooting type ones (very good), to driving type ones (fun, but hardish). The dancing games are fantastic and equal (IMO) those of 'Just Dance' - which we brought at the same time).. in fact, I'd say the implimentation is actually better than 'just dance' and its ashame there isnt more (theres about 10 of them I think). The 'Guitar Hero' style games are also great and brilliant fun to play (again, I wish there were more of these types). The rest of the types are also pretty good, its just I`m pretty rubbish at them at the moment lol.We have about 10 Wii games at the moment and along with 'Wii Fit' this is probibly the best of the bunch. And for a tenner, its a steal - go buy it, you wont regret it.

I can't believe how much fun this game really is! It's a long time since a game has made me feel so good about myself, because alot of modern games do forget the underlying fact that games should be fun.I have played both on solo mode and party mode and really enjoy playing by myself or with other people. My boyfriend's 8 year old daughter also loves it, although i think this is mainly because she gets to see her dad pull all kinds of wierd and wonderfull moves. The dancing is a personal favourite with us.One thing i wasn't so keen on, is that the game is supposed to be Wii balance board compatible, which it is, but the board doesn't seem to be very responsive to the game. In some games,it's a brilliant accessory, like 'beastie boarding' for example, but in other games, it seems to be more of a hinderance, than a help.Over all, if you are looking for a really humourous fun game that all of the family will love, regardless of age, then i would reccomend this game to you in a heart beat.

I have been trying to buy a Wii Fit for four months but am one of those stalwarts who refuses to pay more than the RRP for it. I have all the Raving Rabbid games but because of the balance board requirement I nearly didn't bother as I couldn't get one. I'm so glad I relented and got one anyway! What a great game, even withouth the board! My son (10) and my boyfriend (40) are never off it which makes it hard for me to get in there.Yes, it's stupid, childish, essentially pointless, but it makes us all laugh like idiots and it's GREAT fun!! I particularly like the music and dancing sections because there's always a new dance move or song I'm not familiar with and that results in a gibbering heapof giggles! If you can manage not to take it/yourself too seriously and just want to play a daft game, this is PERFECT!!! And once I finally get my Wii-fit, the board can open up a whole new dimension of a game we'll already be familiar with!BWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

Good to get some use out of that balance board!Great fun to play either on your own or with up to 8 people. As it is compatable with the balance board it actually makes good use of it. Some games you are sat on the board and others standing. It is a little difficult to get the hang of it initially but once you have practiced a few times (or had some beer - over 18 of course) it's not too hard. There are now some dancing tasks which involve the balance board as well as the nunchuck/controller. Careful with jumping about or you can end up whacking yourself.

This game is absolutely brilliant. Its hilarious, the games are very well thought out and put together and the story lines are very funny. It is certified aged 7+ and I feel this is a true reflection for the games. My daughter is 7 and when we first started playing the games she did find some of them a little challenging compared to games that are rated 3+ and she could have lost interest in it very quickly but the story lines are very funny and we encouraged her to keep playing and she soon got into the game and now cannot stop playing it.It is very much a family game and some of the games are even challenging for me and my partner. There is a massive variety of games to play and it doesnt matter if you dont have a balance board you can still play 99% of the games and it is just as enjoyable.Excellent value for your money and endless of fun. The games can be played over and over again and I highly recommend it.

I've played all three Raving Rabbid games, and this was my favourite. As a party game, it is pretty awesome - it is fun to be dancing in time 4 in a row or playing raving music together, and some of the other mini-games are very good (the american football stands out). However, as a one person game it can be a little frustrating. Much of the problem is with not knowing what to do. In the dancing games, you are given no hint as to why you got it wrong, only annoying beeps when you can't figure out the stick figures intended motion. Several other mini games are also a little annoying. It is a return to form for the shooting games though - much preferable to the previous two as it works smoothly in a good cartoony fashion, and you now have to shoot only a certain kind of rabbid so a new element of skill is needed.I would recommend this for the party mode, and although it is not perfect there is much to like.

I live in an adult based world. The (very) occasional visiting child has loved playing this game, sure. But within moments of getting this big bundle of joyous Rabbid mini-games together with visiting 30- and 40-somethings, and the raucous laughter begins. Bwaaaaah! This TV Party game offers a lot of choices of game type, hilarious chances for undignified behaviour, sabotage of one's significant other or baffling display of skill. Opportunities galore to soften up the hardened non-gamer with play that doesn't require complex button pressing or the flexibility of a 9 year old.It can be played solo too, of course.I heartily recommend getting this game, but it is best to have a full set of 4 controllers,4 nunchucks and a balance board to get the most out of it with groups. N.B. A balance board is optional but it won't let you play at all without a nunchuck.

When I first saw the advert for this on TV I was put off, It looked weird and didn't sell the fun that the game is, I also thought you would need a Wii board to get the best from the game.My little boy has been poorly , as a treat I purchased this for him, this was after reading the positive reviews on Amazon. What a great game it is, It's fun, funny and very addictive, My little boy and his cousin love it, so do I, the Music game to Ladies Night is brilliant. The boys love every game on it and there are loads.Best played as a two or more player game but it does hold it's own as a one player. There are a couple of games that you can see would be enhanced with a Wii board, but still play well with the normal Wii controllers.I put this game up there with the best Wii game such as the Mario and sonic games It is fun, funny and one the family can enjoy.

This is my first introduction to the Raving Rabbids series, and I have to say its utter madness.I had this shortly before christmas, and still can't imagine where these guys got their inspiration from! That aside, the game is great, its a fantastic party game, compiled of many many mini games which are very addictive. With the balance board, it allows one lucky player to take on different challenges (while the others try to sabotage them). There is also the 'ad-break' mode - basically adds a mini game in the form of an advert into the gameplay, allowing the winner to get a special bonus to help with the current mini game being played? Confused yet? You will be - but thats what makes it so much fun! While the game is great on multiplayer,I feel it lacks the excitement as a single player game. Get your mates round and have some fun!
