Ray Ban Wayfarers have to be the funkiest looking shades in the world. As many readers of "a certain age" will know, they were popularised by the Blues Brothers, but have of course been around for somewhat longer. They have gone in and out of fashion ever since they were first designed in the 1950's and one design critic suggested that the angular shape of the frame hints at an unstable dangerousness (presumably in the wearer). Whatever. The much copied design is timelessly classic and when you don a pair you immediately go up the cool scale a notch or two.Enough of all that! Not only do they look good, but genuine Wayfarers are well made; sturdy enough to withstand frequent use,

I ordered this for my teenage son who has been wanting cool looking sun glasses. White frame with Black Lens. We shopped around for a similar product at Lenscrafters, Sunglass Hut etc. Found the price to be too high ... it was close to $150 with additional tax we have to pay .... at 8.3% here in Texas, I would end up paying close to $165 !! Additionally the stores sell only product that is on shelf ... who know how long it had been used.Anyway, when the product came, the box itself looked a little shabby ... mean the Rayban box. Looked tattered. But when I opened the sunglasses were neatly kept inside the Rayban glass holder. It was really neat.Gave choice to my son and he loved it from the instant he saw.

I ordered from Sunglasses Express and received a legitimate pair of Ray Bans. I watched a couple of youtube videos to point out the differences between fakes and real shades. This one has passed every test to my knowledge: one piece frame with no seams, metal hinges with trust bars in each arm. glass lenses with precision cut RB logo. The top of the frame sits tilted outwards just like they always have. All printed details are accurate and don't rub off. I ordered the 54mm because I have a larger head and they fit very well. The classic Wayfarer design is perfect for larger heads and go well with any outfit. Would love if they produced these with a matte finish like my New Wayfarers

And because these are genuine glass lenses, when hubby sits down on them every other year or so or drops them lens down on concrete, I know what my next present to him will be. The polarization on the lenses really helps him deal with sensitivity to sunlight, especially when driving or working in the yard. They fit his big head great.I paid full price and receive no compensation for reviews, except the knowledge that hopefully my review will be helpful to others the way detailed reviews are helpful to me. I had always wanted a pair of Wayfarers, and after purchasing multiple pairs of fakes that didn't fit very well and eventually crumbled- I decided to purchase the real deal. I never realized how HEAVY a pair of sunglasses could be!! You definitely will not lose these, and why would you want to? I have a large, oval face with large deep set eye sockets and these glasses fit perfectly. I'm glad I went with the Original first, and will probably end up purchasing a pair in tortoise-shell before purchasing a pair of the New Wayfarers. This price makes it much easier to be able to try a few different options.

I love these 'secret European size' 47mm Ray-Bans -- for adults, not children! Finally, a pair of sunglasses that FIT me! This is the first nice pair of sunglasses that I have ever owned. If you have a narrow/small face, give these a try. They are stylish, classic and well-made (hand made in Italy). Most important, I don't feel that I look ridiculous wearing these since the size is such a nice fit. How cool to find this size on Amazon since it isn't sold at any of the local shops here in the US (though you can buy them from Ray-Ban if you give them a call -- expensive!).

These shades are instant classics that's style still holds true today. Many of the reviews noted they received fakes, but these are most definitely authentic, as pictured. I purchased directly from Amazon. Build quality is top-notch and the lens quality is excellent. Very nice sunglasses.

I was going to buy the New Wayfarer but these ones just have the classic look that I love. I am in Arizona and I like the fact that the Original Wayfarer lenses are tilted down which conforms to my face and keeps the sun out. Normally, I am a cheapskate and just buy cheap sun glasses so it was a major decision for me to buy expensive glasses. But, the retro & classic look of the Original Wayfarer and the excellent quality of the polarized lenses are worth it. They are a little heavy so that is something to consider.

Arrived quickly in a lovely leather case, the glass are genuine and fit nicely on the face. The lenses of the Original Wayfarers, as opposed to the New Wayfarers, point outwards which gives, in my opinion, a cooler and more recognisable appearance. This means I would strongly advise buying the original Ray-Bans rather than saving £20 or so and getting the New Wayfarers. The frame is sturdy and vision is crystal clear - even without polarised lenses. A MUST buy for the summer and at a great price too!

Woohoo - it's risky business time over here when I put these glasses on, unbotton my shirt and drop my pants. These sunglasses are stunning, classic, absolutely practical. A black glossy finish, they are polarized and I have found them to be completely durable since I have already dropped them several times but at least they still look brand new, I look good and that makes me happy. I look like BAE in my Black RayBans! Woohoo! Get you some today! Can't go wrong with classic ray bans!

I am liking these sunglasses. They are stylish and they fit my face and ears really well. I have trouble often times with sunglasses being too big. I got the 50mm and the ear part fits nicely behind my ear, rather than being too long behind my ear, which is usually the issue. It is frustrating to constantly push your sunglasses back up on your nose because they don't fit properly. I am glad for the smaller sizes available from Ray Ban and I have no issues to report with this pair.

I bought cheap sunglasses for years and was always replacing them, until Prime Day came along and I decided to shell out. It's totally worth it. My eye doctor recommended wearing sunglasses all the time when outside, even if it's not particularly sunny, so they are not just for looking cool (even though they definitely do.) But taking them off and on so much, I needed something durable, so these are the way to go. Totally worth the investment. Come with case and cleaning cloth.

My father in-law was an optometrist, and some 40!yrs ago he recommend Ray Bans to me because, they used Bausch & Lomb lenses which are the best in him opinion in the world, I have to agree. Absolutely no distortion . So 40 years later I'm still wearing wayfarer's today.The style has come and gone from popularity with my children and my grandchildren , but I knew all those years ago there just cool glasses, I don't follow fads, I just stuck with an awesome product .

The real deal, I have been wearing the exact same style, for over 40 yrs. funny how People often criticized over the years that they were not in style. Not my concern to be in style for anyone but myself I have light blue eyes and would often get head aches and squint at the brightness of the sun.My optometristrecommended these to me because of the dark lenses , he considered them as the best lenses in his opinion they are glass and have zero distortion .

These are lovely. They are genuine as far as I can see. They have a really solid weight to them also. I bought the 54 size. I don't think they are as big as some reviews say. I don't have a large face/ head, just an average oval shape female face and they look fine, they fit well I think, but we're all different so you decide. I'd say definitely unisex. I am well pleased with them. Great delivery service and great price too. Many thanks
