First a word of warning: This is not a game for you CMR and other rally sim fans. This is an arcade game.I've not played the XBox version so I don't know how it stacks up against it, but the PC version is a very enjoyable and great looking game.There are 4 race types ('standard' rally, ice raceing, hill climb, and rally cross) and various modes of play including the ability to race against other cars physically on the track in single player mode. Most rally 'sims' won't let you do this.There is also good multiplayer support, though for net play you'd be struggling on a 56k modem.Enjoyment wise, this is a great game just to take for a spin. It's easy to pick up and play,and conveys a great sense of speed.Graphically, it's well polished. It has an amazing view distance, great weather and dust effects etc, and uses advanced features of the GeForce3 and above to make surfaces look very realistic, including water and ice. As well as that, it actually has 3D trees, something of a first on the PC.The sonud is also up to scratch, wtih good car sounds and a good soundtrack.You'll need a mid/high-end system to run this well, but if arcade rally is your thing, then this is worth a look.

This game is absolutely brilliant. Forget Dirt showdown... spend a couple of quid on this and have endless fun instead of wasting £60 (or whatever ridiculous price newly released games cost these days) on games that rely on nothing but the hype to be any good.Rallisport challenge looks great, sounds great, and most importantly runs great. I should warn this is not meant to be a sim - it's an arcade game with an authentic rally feel - and believe me it IS authentic! Does a better job of making you feel like you are there on the track than any recent game I have ever played. The crunching sounds of the dirt, the smashing of windows and other parts on the car, grit flying up behind the tyres,dirt/snow tracks left behind by the car, the muffled pacenotes of the Co - driver that sounds like it's coming through a real mouthpiece rather than absolutely clear as if he is talking normally to you in a silent room (that's right Colin Mcrae rally) , the powerful engine sounds of the group B cars.... the list is endless. But the most important thing - the sense of SPEED that rally games just don't give you any more!Buy it NOW you won't be dissapointed :)

Very good game. Graphics are very realistic: the places look really natural, the shadows are perfect, and the cars are just like real. There are many cars to choose and many places where you can race. The only problem in graphics is the aliasing... The control of the cars is good, but not the best it could be. The music and the sounds are really perfect, and you'll spend hours playing it!
