The material itself is absolutely waterproof but the construction is not. Most of the seams are welded, but at the hood where the cord (what you use for adjusting) runs through the water can leaks in. There are no welded seams at that area. It's a bit annoying but this only happens in really heavy rainstorms. I don't have problems with the breathability, the ventilation holes do a great job. Despite the fact, that this jacket is not 100% waterproof, I prefer wearing this, than a technical shell in the city, because it looks so good! You can feel yourself really stylish. Highly recommend it!

Have yet to see the rains but my thoughts... Good design and well thought out with good attention to detail. Material doesn't crease like plastic and colour is as pictured and not as shiny as the pictures (which I prefer). The hood comes with a little protruded cap- ACE. Good vent holes.My clothes are usually a Small. Got the XS/S and fits good. Prefer a touch larger than smaller so you can comfortably wear jumpers/ jackets. Comes to a good length for me (I'm 170cm) without it being a long coat.Overall I wanted a rain coat that didn't look like a plastic bag. Got it.

Although this is described as a mans rain jacket - actually bought it for my wife who is usually in women's clothes medium, so we bought extra small in Rains men's and it fits perfectly. My wife is delighted with it and has already been complimented on it being a nice jacket.It has been tested in the rain and works very well. It is also very light and folds away nicely in a rucksack.Good quality product and rapid delivery.

So nice to have a jacket that aside from being 100% waterproof, also looks absolutely on point - looks great for wearing in the city, not like I'm about to go yomping up a mountain like most waterproof coats. Great length, and it's got a peaked hood keeping the rain out of your face.Can stuff it in your bag, and because it's not that breathable, keeps you pretty warm too.Love it!

I watched this item for a while before buying at a good price. Delighted with it. Wore it when weather was warm and as it is a little generous in size am now wearing it with a jumper underneath in the colder weather. It is machine washable so the light colouring is not a problem if it gets a bit grubby.

I am a tall, skinny person (about 6 foot, 2 inches - 145 pounds). The chest size and overall length of the jacket are good. My issue is with the sleeve length, which is about an inch or two shorter than I would have wanted.

Fantastic coat, well steezey and stops the breezey, stops the rain pretty darn well too, got to test it a lot sooner than expected with a sick downpour last week or so

The material feels amazing and the fit is great. I usually wear a L/XL in jackets but this one in M/L fit absolutely perfect. Completely worth the price.
